  • Turtle Treats

I noticed the price is very reasonable for the turtle treats and who doesn't like to treat their turtle? My turtle really had fun chasing them. I did find a down side to this product. It leaves the tank very messy. Before I change the tank I will give one to my turtle and then he can enjoy his treat and then return to a clean tank.

  • Fun to watch

Sampson is about the size of a baseball mitt, it is fun to watch him swim after "Chasers" sometimes looking at the top of the water to find it. He can take it in his mouth bites it in half and than finishes it off

  • Great product

My aquatic turtle really likes these treats, but I thought they would be bigger. My turtle can simply open his mouth and crunch them. Defeating the purpose of "chaser" product.

  • Would give zero stars if I could!

Just a big mess. Turtles weren't that interested so it just eventually dissolved into a big extra mess that I didn't need in the tank. Still love Chewy to the Moon and Back!

i have a rather large red ear slider. for being a big guy (about 20" from nose to tail) he can be a picky eater. but he absolutely loves these. so much so that he splashes around when he sees that package come out.

  • Didn't Float

    By on

Every treat I tried sunk straight down...and unfortunately my turtle didn't find this that good since he didn't bother eating it...could be because it didn't float

  • Caused a Cloudy Mess

    By on

I dropped one floating treat into our 75 gal tank, and because my 10 year old turtle bit into it but did not eat all of it, it disintegrated and caused the entire tank to cloud up with zero visibility. I just cleaned the entire tank and filter 2 days before and had to change the water again and clean out the bits of treats from the filter. Would be better if it did not disintegrate so easily but stayed more solid. Too messy.

  • Big and little will love this treat!

    By on

My turtles are about 17 years old, named Thelma and Louise. They have big heads and mouths. When I saw the treats for the first time I thought they would gobble them whole. Not so! They grabbed the treats like dogs grab bones and swam all over their pool, holding on so no one would get them. So funny! The treats started to break up and so the turtles started hunting the pieces. I could see how these treats would keep small turtles busy for awhile.

  • She can't get enough!

I have an Asian Box turtle who is so picky about what she will eat. I am constantly trying new things, fresh or packaged, to give her variety. I have never seen her go nuts for anything like she does with these. I drop 1 or 2 in her water and she instantly chases them down and works away at them. Definitely recommend for picky turtles.
