They are all looking at me

This product did not smell too bad and appeared fresh. My three old crabs did not like it and buried their feeding dish with oak leaves. In the morning I removed it and gave them their favorite, freeze dried river shrimp made by the same company. Within an hour they came out of hiding to clean their plate.

canned river shrimp

Great with cocktail sauce, and much cheaper than grocery store shrimp. Kids loved it too.

Odor from product

Crabs loved them ,but after a couple days there is a very strong odor from the shrimp. Probably will not buy them again

Stinky good snack

My hermit crabs LOVE this!!! I was unsure at first, I have bought this for my older crabs last year, now with the newbies I wasn't sure, but they LOVE it!!!

My Hermies loved these!

My Hermit crabs are VERY finicky. But, they eat these up! I keep them in the freezer as other's have recommended.

Matter of Taste...

Hermit Crabs take a pass most of the time (they don't have big stomachs), but Crayfish sits up and begs for them every day. They are wee whole shrimp (juicy, not dried). I do put them in the freezer...they don't take long to thaw enough to tweeze a few out for dinner service, and there's no way we'd go through an entire container in a week.

Rotten Shrimp

Purchased a can of river shrimp for my southern painted turtle. To my dismay it was rotten, stunk up the whole house when opened. Should have known, its roughly 5 bucks, but was on sale for $1.59. Winter time is rough finding things for him to eat, so chewy has been a big go to for his food. He is a very picky eater, which is crazy cuz he's a turtle. Lessons learned.
