Loving it!!

Everything in the tank loves these! They are so easy to just toss in a few and watch everyone come swimming. They dissolve easily but stay until eaten, which doesn't

I give it a good rating, I do state that you do not want to use a lot any standing food will stink really bad. A little bit of this goes a long way compared to flakes.

Type for a bigger Pleco

My Pleco had stopped eating. I read up on it and discover when they get big (14 inches), they want insects. This food is great.

EVERYONE loves this food.

Cichlids would rather eat this than their pellets, have to distract them so the plecos get some.

All the bottom feeders enjoy this food. My only complaint is that in every “handful” *I don’t literally feed a handful. But it happens each time I feed this food* there are one of two chunks that float. They get a dense spongey texture and feel, well, like a sponge. And they float on the surface until either I remove them or they start to decay. A wee bit annoying but otherwise a well-enjoyed food.

I know the package says Pleco food, but I purchased this food for Cory catfish and shrimp, which are also bottom feeders. It does not cloud the water and has no artificial fillers or preservatives. I have Swordtails and snails that try to score a few bites too when they can. I have had good results with all of the Fluval foods I have purchased.

Tasty nom noms for bottom feeders - and big goldfish too

I have a 75 gal cold water tank with hand-sized goldfish, 3” Corydoras catfish, and one Plecostomus we call Notch, for the notch in his upper tail fin. Notch loves these good sized nuggets, but so do the goldfish (they are big enough to swallow typical Plecostomus wafers whole). I usually give Notch some of these when I can occupy the goldfish with other treats at the opposite side of the tank, as they are fast moving bullies. Even the Cory catfish like these, though they have to hope a piece goes inside one of the caves or tunnels that are too small for the bigger goldfish.
