Flys-Off can be applied wherever the animal is most vulnerable to flies. On the ears, legs, etc. It is best to avoid their eyes and mouth.

Does this product have any strong odors? The product I currently use has been discontinued and it has a soft aloe fragrance.

Flys-Off Fly Repellent Dog & Cat Ointment can be used on a cat’s ears, however, this product contains pyrethrins and should only be used as directed. It is recommended to avoid the lower, inner part of the ear. If experiencing issues in the inner ear, please consult your vet for recommendations.

Flies not repelled on my Shepherd

Was really disappointed that this product did not repel flies on my German Shepherds ears. Flies continue to bite and suck blood.

Repelled flies on her face for approximately 5 hrs. It definitely helped with deterring the biting insects on her belly and in her ears.

Works on everything but deer flies

The black flies, horse flies, and the housefly looking critters on the beach who bite like crazy. But the deer flies don’t seem to give a darn about this stuff

There's these little flies that come around and chew the heck out of my horses ears and bellies. I love this stuff to put on as a preventative. I put a little round

I put a little round sponge inside of it so that I can just wipe the sponge into the ointment and then rub the ointment onto them. It still gets on my hands but not as bad as if I just use my hands alone.

This works just fine. I like to use a small paint brush and "paint"it on my horse's legs, it lasts for days!
