Ingredients
Ingredients

Pyrethrins: 0.15%, Piperonyl butoxide: 1.50%, N-Octyl Bicycloheptene Dicarboximide: 0.50%, Di-n-propyl Isocinchomeronate: 0.50%, Other Ingredients: 97.35%.

Instructions

Cover animal's eyes with hand and with a firm, fast stroke to get a proper spray mist, spray head, ears, and chest until damp. With fingertips, rub into face around mouth, nose, and eyes. Then spray neck, middle, and hind quarters, finishing legs last. For best penetration of spray to the skin, direct spray against the natural lay of the hair. On long-haired dogs, rub your hand against the lay of the hair, spraying the ruffled hair directly behind your hand. Make sure spray thoroughly wets ticks. Repeat every 9 days.

Note that the recommended dose is about 4 squeezes of the trigger sprayer (0.13 fl oz) per pound of body weight. Short-haired dogs/puppies will need less; more spray may be needed for long-haired dogs/puppies. In all cases, apply spray until the coat is damp, not saturated.

*Do not apply to animals less than 12 weeks old.

  • Worked pretty well!

    By on

This stuff worked well on a variety of dogs, up in the Southern CA mountains. It's very dry and dusty and the flies are a big problem for the dogs. I agree, wish it came in a bigger bottle! Smells okay (to us- dogs didn't like it much) and it worked pretty darned well. Had to reapply after several hours.

  • Awesome Product

This product worked wonders for my doggie! He is outside a majority of the time and its the summer so flies are out there! They would try to flock to his ears. I searched around and this healed his ears and keeps them away, no matter where he is, or even if he gets wet! Try it :)

  • Does what it says

    By on

I bought this item to repel fleas. I'm not sure if it worked but the situation definitely didn't get any worse. Would I buy this again? Maybe. it's reasonably priced. The only downfall was that the bottle was not sealed tightly and part of the product had leaked out during the shipping process.

Flys-Off helped my feral friend, Rosie. He had a chewed up nose and ears. It was difficult to spray on but I could rub it on with no trouble, I feed the community cats in my yard I can spray it on me, too

  • Works! And your pet smells like a smooth aftershave

    By on

It smells like regular kids bug spray at first, but after it dries it smells like your grandpas aftershave. Its a nice smell actually, a bit perfumy, but i have a very sensitive cat, and this hasnt been bothering him at all. The bottle doesnt come with much but if you spray it onto a brush it goes on nicely. Its been doing a good job.

  • Bottle is too small

    By on

This bottle is way too small. If you are outside with your dog during the summer like I am, you will need multiple bottles of this to make it through 1 month. I've only used it on my dog about 5 times, the bottle is almost empty.

  • Bottle is too small

Keeps flys off for about a day. the bottle is too small. if it would keep flys off longer or if it would come in a bigger bottle then I would recommend it.

  • Good stuff

    By on

This is the best for a dog, I have found. I love it when a fly get spray and dies there. Only thing bad about it is the top gets loose and you loose a lot of the product. I lost half of mine so I will order more. Thank you for asking CarolCoe
