Does this supplement contain selenium? It's not listed, but IS a known mineral horses need... especially in the PNW.

There is not any selenium in Formula 707 Daily Essentials. While selenium is indeed a necessary mineral for horses, it can present a severe risk of toxicity if it is overfed to a horse. In order to minimize the chance that Daily Essentials causes toxicity for horses that are already being provided with feed or supplementation that includes selenium, they have chosen not to include it in their formulation. It's recommended that horse owners administer a separate selenium supplement if they are in a region that requires it.

About how long does this bucket last for an adult horse

This supplement can last for approximately 200 servings. It is recommended to feed 2-3 ounces daily to an average 1100-pound horse.

This is my first time using 707 supplement. I’ve been using several different brands and this works 10 out of 10. I’d give a 20 if I could. It has improved my horse’s coat, it is a rich black color before it was faded and dull. His mane is growing thick and lucious. His hooves are stronger than ever. This is a pellet form which is fine for my horse, he took to it immediately. I do mix this in with some pellet grain.

I have a VERY picky eater in the form of a small miniature mare. I've owned her for over fourteen years and she has refused all forms of vitamins to the point of her refusing to eat her feed if any supplement was in it. I began feeding her this vitamin supplement a few days ago and she has finished her feed portion and licked the bowl. This is a great success. My mare's veterinarian has wanted her on a vitamin supplement for years but she's never liked any of them. I have high hopes for this one.
