Forza10 Active Kidney Renal Support Diet Dry Cat Food, 0.88-lb bag

I have been feeding this to our CKD cat for about a year now. Her blood work has been stable so far and she is eating the kibble well. She transitioned from a raw diet to this food (and is picky) without issue and she also has issues with urinary crystals, of which we haven't seen any indication of, thankfully. Yes, this food is greasy, since it's covered in omegas. We bathed our cats regularly before, but do a double shampoo wash now before conditioning because her coat is so greasy (she immediately grooms herself after every meal and spreads the grease from her mouth all over her coat). Glad we found this food since renal diets are often extremely unpalatable.

I've been searching for a chicken-free renal food FOREVER and was really hoping this would be the one! Initially, both of my cats seemed to enjoy the food but then both of them started vomiting it up. I was mixing it with their old food and in the transition phase, but they weren't vomiting prior to me adding the Forza. Back to the drawing board...

It was a long road to get an accurate diagnoses and the proper medications for my cat. I struggled with prescription renal diets that he would eat. He proved that he would rather starve and die than eat terrible food. Same, I guess. He withered down to a skeletal frame and would not stop hiding. I knew something had to drastically change. I ordered Forza Renal and bought him the tastey wet food packets to sneak his potassium in once a day. I sprinkle phosphate binder on his dry kibble and call it a day. A year later he is filled out, happy, fluffy, and play zooming again.
