So far so good!

My one cat was recommended to go on a renal/kidney diet. From experience, my cats HATE the scripted renal/ kidney food- so it became a waste of a lot of money

My one cat was recommended to go on a renal/kidney diet. From experience, my cats HATE the scripted renal/ kidney food- so it became a waste of a lot of money. I did some research, and came across this. I love the fact that it is made in Italy! and apparently so do my cats. They come running when they hear me open. So far NO VOMITING- which is great! He was losing so much weight that it was concerning. I'm curious to see his bloodwork after some time of being on this, but so far so good- everyone is HAPPY!

Finally something she likes!

Sassy is really enjoying this food! She has tried every prescription diet wet food and doesn't give a hoot for any of them. She will go without eating, she detests

Sassy is really enjoying this food! She has tried every prescription diet wet food and doesn't give a hoot for any of them. She will go without eating, she detests them so much. Fortunately she has enjoyed the prescription diet kibble. But because I want her to have more moisture in her diet, I wanted her to like the wet food too. But that didn't happen until I purchased this brand. She loves it ...EVERYDAY.... even have been able to mix a little of the prescribed canned food (Royal Canin only) in with it.

We’ve been on a rotation of the prescription renal support foods for our boy Ringo for over a year now. We’ve tried all of the Hill flavors, some would be ok for a few days then he would stop eating them. When we tried all of the Hills, we moved on to Royal Canine. He did the best with the ‘E’ but it wasn’t long before Ringo was only eating that with lots of coaxing. His kidney numbers had actually improved over this past year of being on the kidney prescription foods, but meal time had become a dreaded daily challenge, especially b/c we have two cats that have to be kept separate at meal time due to the special diet. Out of desperation we tried the Forza10 because while his numbers were better, he was definitely losing weight. I was a little nervous about taking him off the prescription foods but Forza10 Renal Support has the same nutritional numbers as the Royal Canine he’s done the best with. From day one of trying Forza10, we could tell this one is different. Ringo is eating like a cat in a cat food commercial. He stands on his hind legs with front feet on the counter edge to watch us prep his bowl- and best of all he eats all of his food in one go, no coaxing necessary! Nearly 3 weeks in and he’s still enthusiastically eating this food. He already seems to be putting on a little weight and actually seems like his old self, prior to KD diagnosis. This food has been a game changer!

As many cat parents know, it’s hit and miss with prescription kidney care food. I’ve spent a lot of money on various Rx food, most of which my cat doesn’t care for. My cat loves Forza 10. I only give him half a can with some renal dry cat food. I showed this to my vet. He compared it with Purina Pro Plan NF food and said the phosphorus levels are the same, so he’s fine with me feeding this to my cat. It’s nice not following my cat around trying to get him to eat.

Sketchy QC but it’s the only renal food my cat likes

My last shipment came with a pack that crushed, resulting in leaked gravy and rotten smell - vet said it’s fine to keep her eating this while she’s in stage 1 CKD, but urged us to transition to a different food because there are less regulations for non-prescription

Big piece of bones

My CKD cat always likes this renal support wet food. However the recent purchase two different batches all come with these bug pieces of bones in the can. Cats stomach

My CKD cat always likes this renal support wet food. However the recent purchase two different batches all come with these bug pieces of bones in the can. Cats stomach and colon are very sensitive and can be easily damaged by these hard bones. I had to use my hand to filter out the hard bones before I can deef her the food. There QA controls are terrible and the chewy should recall all these batches and give me full refund.

I switched from the Hills Kidney wet food because they keep raising their prices. Overall I think this one is better anyway. I squeeze a bit of the "Weruva Wx Phos Lickable Cat" on top to change up the flavoring and my 18 year old cat, Stinkerbell loves it.
