Firstly, the packaging needs improvement. Maybe the company saves money by utilizing flexible metal containers, but it's a weak point that causes problems. Not only did these show up squished (though thankfully, none broken open), but inevitably, by peeling off the foil top, I manage to splash myself with icky fish juice. I've not had that issue with pop top cans. My cat doesn't like pate consistencies, but I really wanted to find a fish flavor urinary-specific food to add variety to his diet. This just isn't it. No matter what toppers I put on it to make it more appetizing, he just won't eat it. Maybe it will work better for you. Just be careful when you open it!

I was excited to find this high-quality ingredient urinary tract support food. We’ve all seen the big Vet brands with a lot of filler ingredients.. My cat actually prefers crunchy food so this did take a little bit of coaxing. I like to put some of the Purina hydra-care gravy in it. The little tins make a good quantity of food. It’s on the pricey side but it’s worth it on my opinion!

I don't know if eating the tiny fish bones is okay, but some are quite large. One I found this morning is about 1/2 inch by 1/3 inch.

After my 16 year old cat Percy got blocked a year ago for the first time (when he was 15), my vert said to change the diet right away. At first, Percy hated everything, but with some patience and trial, he began to really like the Forza Urinary Support (as well as the Purina ProPlan chicken). I am thrilled to say that he went to the vet yesterday and now has NO CRYSTALS. He got a totally clean bill of health. Hang in there if you are trying to switch. It can take time to adjust.
