Regular greyhound-style combs are easier to hold?

I was very surprised that the plastic handle did not make the comb easier to hold/grip. I can't find my greyhound type comb, like this but a metal rod as the back

I was very surprised that the plastic handle did not make the comb easier to hold/grip. I can't find my greyhound type comb, like this but a metal rod as the back of the comb (no handle). Both of my Goldens prefer most of their grooming to be done mainly with greyhound type comb. I end up mostly holding this with a finger along the spine and fingers around tines, unlike the standard greyhound style.

Works better than the hooman version

That grip makes a difference when detangling my dog’s occasional snarls (long-haired dachshund). I don’t risk losing my grip or the comb flipping outta my hand as

Easy to grip.

This comb is well made and a good size for all of my dogs, 2 Goldens, a Maltese and a Westie. Works well on all of them.

Not what I was looking for

It is a pretty good comb but I thought it had rotating pins which work much better since my dog has hair that tangles. No fault of the comb, was completely my fault

Works great on my black Lab

Easy on my hand (I have arthritis). My dog loves being combed with it. The fine tooth side removes a lot of her hair with little effort.
