My roommate has an approximately 14 year old Jack Russell Terrier mix and he holds a lot of urine (enough to fill a whole 22" x 23" pad and then some). Would these or the gigantic ones work better for him? (The less mopping of urine run-off, the better.)

These Wee-Wee pads have a super Absorption System which consists of a quick-dry top layer, super-absorbent core and leak-proof liner. They're made to have fast absorption with a quilted top mesh and two wet-lock layers to prevent tracking.

Are both sides of the pad the same? Or does only one side absorb the moisture? Both sides look just the same.

The front side is a white quilted material and the bottom is all blue.

New Blue Lining Version thinner than Old White Lining Version

Four Paws, changed the manufacturing method and cut cost!! The newer blue version is not the quality of the older white version.. Been using the 24x24 super absorbent white version for over ten year because it was thicker and most absorbent than the 23x22 version.. my last order 24x24 version came with a newer blue lining which by touch I knew it was thinner than the old one, yet it came in the same packaging of the old one.. Four Paws needs to go back to the older thicker version.. Four Paws cheap us out!! This is no good!! I would recommend the old white lining one but not the new blue lining one…

New blue lining pee pads

I agree with the review about the 75 count pee pads changed. They are thinner than the white and they leak .My terrier wets alot and after once or twice its leaking, if its wet at all she will put the urine on the floor then to step on something wet. Overnight I place a sheet of news paper underneath and by early a.m. the news paper is wet.and this is from a small dog. I'm unsure about recommending this product now, before the change yes

New blue lining pads don't work

Mfg. Changed pads. New blue lining pads are about 1/2 as effective as the old white ones. Also packaging was changed just enough that you can't tell til after you open them. Old packaging was clear at top. You could see the white pads. New packaging is exactly the same Except the clear part at the top is white so you don't see that they are blue pads til you open them.

Disappointing

These potty pads are poorly designed. The “liner” is the same color as the pad so it’s difficult to tell what direction to place them on the ground. Also the liner is very thin, my dog plays and if she runs over the pad she rips the pad. The larger pads are done significantly better.

They Leak!!!!

These pads are awful! I reordered them by accident and I’m going to give them away. I use them with a pee pad holder and put two in at a time because they leak so bad.

Great pads

I love there absorbent pads and although these cost a bit more than the regular pads, I find these last longer. I have an adult Cockapoo and although he mostly goes outside, I can't always get him outside everytime, as I won't let him out by himself due to wildlife predators in AZ, when he needs to he has these. I recommend this brand over many others I tried!

Use a paper towel - just as good

We go through A LOT of pee pads, disposable and washable. I thought these were the same brand I previously purchased but realized when I got them that they're different- these are are all white and the others are blue underneath. Anyway, when my 65 lb dog pees on these it goes through so when you lift it up, the floor is wet right underneath. I'm not talking about pee going over the edges, right in the middle. Maybe if you get to it right away it would be ok or maybe for a small dog but these were a complete waste of $$ for us.
