How frequently the litter box will need to be fully cleaned out will vary greatly. It would depend on how many cats are using the box, how frequently they use the box, how often the box is being scooped, among other factors.

At this time the manufacturer does not offer a Clean Paws version that is unscented.

Does the clean paws version have the same consistency to the fresh step simply unscientific 25 lb. box

The Clean Paws formula is designed with a special blend of larger particles that won’t stick as much to your cats’ fur and paws as opposed to the Simply Unscented formula that uses smaller particles, so there's a change in consistency.

Buyers with cats with allergies, BEWARE!

He started scratching his ears and neck after we started using it. After a month I nearly took him to the vet. I stopped this litter and started using a plain clay

He started scratching his ears and neck after we started using it. After a month I nearly took him to the vet. I stopped this litter and started using a plain clay litter with no additives (Dr Elser) and the scratching stopped. Just tomake sure I repeated this process. Scratching his ears started up again with days or this litter. Ijust threw it out and we're back to Dr Elser's and thankfully the scratching has stopped. This almost cost me a $300 vet bill (exam plus tests for mites). (he doesn't have fleas and is treated for them) The other issue with this litter is that it affected his apettite and he lost half a pound while we were using it over a few months. My cat is only 9 lbs and is 5yo so this is not good for him to be too skinny. He seems best at 10lbs andnow we have to work to get him back to a healthy weight.

I have elderly cats. They barely stepped all the way inside the litter box.. when they urinate and exit the box they stepped in their urine which clings to their feet. I had to take them to the bathroom and wash their Paws. It becomes dry and hard.. I’m sure it’s a good clumping litter. It’s just not for my cats.. rather disappointed.

Noticed less tracking

Completely switched out litters and while I'm sure there'll probably be some at some point, it's been over a week and no noticeable tracking around the litter robot

Completely switched out litters and while I'm sure there'll probably be some at some point, it's been over a week and no noticeable tracking around the litter robot anymore. So at the very least it's a big improvement! Definitely will get this over the standard one from now on

Bad delivery

The package was fine but it was delivered to an empty garage about 2 blocks away from my home. I am 71 years old, it was very heavy and that is why I have it delivered

The package was fine but it was delivered to an empty garage about 2 blocks away from my home. I am 71 years old, it was very heavy and that is why I have it delivered to my door but it was not left here. I'm not sure about the delivery service. I've never had a problem with chewy until now and it's not chewy but the delivery service they use these days. Also the package that I got before this one was left at my neighbors. I hope this gets fixed or I may have to move on to another provider. Thank you

I really appreciate that the package comes with four smaller bags. It makes it so much easier to grab just one small bag without struggling with a huge, heavy bag

Low tracking long lasting

I hate having litter everywhere and my cat uses the box all day long. He has a problem with urinary and digestive system that almost killed him so he drinks more water than I ever seen and this litter works the best for every reason you hate litter this is why you need to buy this litter. It’s so much easier to keep your house and box clean and no smell.

Counterfeit or The formula changed entirely?

Fluffy has used this for years. Recently the particle size is so much bigger. It doesn't clump at all. Once wet it looks like gravel. Doesnt dry. This particukar bag within the 37.8, She tracks all around thehouse. Its in the bed and her hair. My poor baby. It literally just looks like gravel once there's urine on it. No clumping whatsoever. This is incredibly bizarre. Completely useless. Probably confusing her to no end. I even thought that we may have got a bad batch that this was a counterfeit idk since we've been dealing with a bit of a emergency the last few months and the basement has been off limits, so we've added a few extra litter boxes and I thought maybe you know someone maybe this was counterfeit but seeing others saying that the formula has changed just so sad. There's like no comping it's completely useless. It looks like the gravel you would find in a creek. I don't know it's incredibly bizarre because the size of the letter is so large.The cat drags them everywhere. They get stuck in her hair and in the bed and it's not her fault. It doesn't even function as a clumping litter anymore. I don't know how they can call this clumping or clean paws and I don't knowwhy it's OK to change the formula to people who buy a 37.8 pound batch or even two at a time because I cannot lift largeamounts and these coming the smaller bags so now I'm stuck with useless litter That my cat is probably miserable with and I feel horrible for like it's so gross don't even know what to do with this. Once your urinate on it stays wet and I'm just incredibly confused. The bag is you know covered inwriting that has all different instructions in different languages, but it does say Clorox brand and it's just something is terribly wrong with us and I feel like this is what we've used forever and I guess we have to find a new brand because this is not something that she your eyes goingare going to continue to tolerate. She deserves to be fresh and clean, and I deserve to have a bed without gravel all in it. It is absolutely tracking and will track all the way across the house not just briefly because this is literally just essentially gravel and if doesn't look like gravel initially wait till it gets wet then it won't even come. I wish I knew why this was happening. I feel there should be announcements when companies change the formula or if they really was a bad batch and someone just forgotten ingredient or use the wrong ingredient that there's a recall because I don't even know what the purpose of this is?

We have multiple cats and this litter just didn't hold up. The package claims 21 days of odor control, but we have to change it every 4-5 days. Even adding extra litter boxes to reduce the poop/pee in just the one (instead of one on each floor, we did 2 on each floor), it didn't help the smell at all. So definitely a disappointing purchase especially that I bought 3. It's not worth the money. I'm not sure what to do honestly because I've tried so many different litters.

Doesn't slide off the rubber matting

This product clumps well enough however, for the Litter Robot, it has more of a tendency to stick to the rubber mat instead of sliding off and out. Arm & Hammer
