Are both fur portions (top level and inside the cubby) removable for washing?

To clean this cat tree, spot clean the stains and vacuum fur (using small handheld or attachment) when necessary. For removable cushion machine wash cold with like colors, gentle cycle. Do not bleach. Hang dry.

Not enough clearance

I was excited about this cat tree but I have to agree with other reviewers that it isn't well-designed; there's just not enough space for cats to jump down from

I was excited about this cat tree but I have to agree with other reviewers that it isn't well-designed; there's just not enough space for cats to jump down from one platform to another, making it a little dangerous. My current foster cats are quite clumsy and one of them immediately took a tumble from the top of the tree :( Also, in comparison to the Frisco heavy duty line of cat trees (I am a big fan of the heavy duty tree that's a similar size to this one), I would say this was more difficult to put together. I am not very handy so it took me two hours. That said, I was happy to find a tree that is wooden with machine washable mats. Because I foster cats, I'm always in search of cat trees that are easier to sanitize than fabric trees. I hope Chewy/Frisco makes more wooden trees in the future.

Upgrade cat tree

before, we had a tall fabric tree. I do have a bigger cat so the top of the tree ended up giving out over time. This wooden tree with two posts holding up the bed

before, we had a tall fabric tree. I do have a bigger cat so the top of the tree ended up giving out over time. This wooden tree with two posts holding up the bed is really sturdy and comes with a mount for extra security! He loves the house the most, he is still getting used to the tree but I bribed him up top with catnip so he knows how to get up there. Going from the cheap fabric ones to a nice wooden one, I would bribe them with catnip or treats to help them realize how to get to all spots!

There are a billion options for cat trees out there, but I had very specific criteria for my space: * Tall enough for my cats to look out the narrow window, but short enough to be stable * Not too narrow - I have two mini-panthers so they need a good amount of horizontal space * As little plush and carpet as possible - this is the most important part. Carpet gets super dusty and dirty easily, and my cats aren’t too fond of plush. Too many cat trees assume your cats want to be pampered with softness. Not mine though. This cat tree fits the bill perfectly. Poles are 100% covered in sisal. Plush areas are few and removable. The only trouble I ran into was that the view from the top platform was blocked by my window frame. My fault for not measuring beforehand, but the tree works great without the top platform. Highly recommend!

My cats are getting used to the new tree. They are older and are sure of it quite yet. I love the ease of cleaning but think that may be keeping the kitties from fully embracing it so far. My one kitty does like the soft bed on top so it is just a slow process.

Best cat tree yet!

This tree was easy to put together and doesn't have any ridiculous fabric that wears out or tears easily. There's lots of places to scratch and removable bedding

This tree was easy to put together and doesn't have any ridiculous fabric that wears out or tears easily. There's lots of places to scratch and removable bedding. My tabby has a difficult time climbing up on this tree because there's no real "steps" to climb. If I had a complaint, that would be it. I believe that this tree is going to last a lot longer than than the last one that was only a year old.

Great Condo, Beloved By Cat &

This is exclusively my girl cat's tree & condo (it's awesome the boy cat won't touch it, because he can be a bully sometimes). I even feed her on the middle flat

This is exclusively my girl cat's tree & condo (it's awesome the boy cat won't touch it, because he can be a bully sometimes). I even feed her on the middle flat shelf (because boy cat steals food). This looks modern and attractive in my living room (much better looking than other towers in my opinion), and it has held up well 3 years later. She loves it and spends much of the day in it. Highly recommend!

So pretty!

I really love this tree so far. It's been a few weeks and Coffee Bean seems to really enjoy it, too. It was easy enough to put together, though I had gotten it after moving into a new space and it didn't come with a screwdriver, which was necessary to put it together and I did not have one yet as my things hadn't arrived at my new apartment. But, once I had a screwdriver I was able to assemble it by myself in about 30 minutes. It's sturdy and looks great in the space, I'm not the biggest fan of pure carpet trees so this was a great alternative.

I wish I had read the reviews, as others have said the platforms are not staggered and neither of my cats can jump from one to the other. The edges are rather sharp,

I wish I had read the reviews, as others have said the platforms are not staggered and neither of my cats can jump from one to the other. The edges are rather sharp, maybe if the second platform had a rounded edge it would work a little better. They do like to lounge on the top platform, however, they jump on it from my window ledge avoiding the entire lower half of the tree altogether. Seems sturdy and easy to clean but just not designed very well.
