Bring one kitty or the whole crew. This cat tree from Frisco by Chewy is perfectly designed for larger cats or homes with multiple cats, with lots of perching space to choose from, scratching posts, fluffy toys, cozy beds and a private condo. The scratching posts are extra-tall so cats can get in a good stretch while they scratch. They’re also fully covered in sisal rope, a scratchable texture cats love because it feels a lot like scratching on tree bark. Scratching is essential to keeping claws healthy and it feels good for kitties, too. Plus, when your kitty needs a nap—which is pretty often—they can choose retreating to the private condo, climbing to one of the perches, the basket style bed or fluffy bed at the top. The double-layered baseboard provides extra stability as they scratch the posts and jump on and off, and it’s sturdy enough for larger kitties.

This is the third Frisco Condo I bought and put together. This one is for cats we have in another area than our two other cats. This is the second 48" one. We bought this because we bought a taller one 3 years ago. It is in their sleeping area., and it is still as good as new. Bought another 48 inch one for the house area next to a door. This last one is for some kittens and is in front of doors. They all like to look out the window or the door. Sometimes they just get on top and take a nap when it isn't their time to go to bed in their room. Frisco, as far as I know is a good quality company.
My cat is 20 pounds (named Fatty) and she loves it! Its plenty big for her to access the cave & lay on the top. Its extremely sturdy! So far the scratching posts have held up just fine, as well as the ball but I can see how the ball won't last long if you have a cat that pulls it too hard. I was able to put it together myself in about 1/2 hour - the instructions are great with pictures - each piece will come with a sticcker numbering it that matches up with the numbers on the picture. If you can't line up the holes, like others have said, stick the allen wrench through the piece of wood on the top, and feel around with it until the hole underneath lines up then grab your screw and stick it in. Its not the end of the world just takes a few minutes longer than expected to do the cave part. 5 Stars!!
As plenty of others have said, this tree really is great for heavier cats. What I really like about it is the top shelf is supported by 2 thick beams, as opposed to the usual single beam support you see in other cat trees. My heavy cat has busted the top shelf of a different tree because of her constant climbing on and off of it and because it was only supported by one beam. That definitely won't be a problem with this one. It's also very easy to put together and the whole thing feels very sturdy. Would definitely recommend this, especially to owners of heavier kitties.
We have 3 kitties and we wanted another sturdy cat tree that was strong enough to hold our chubby older cats. It was perfect. They can get up and down perfectly and love gazing out the window on the big top bed. It was perfect for our girl who was declawed ( we adopted her that way). She has trouble climbing because of that. So anyone with chunky older declawed cats this one is worth it
My two love this! It was such an easy set up too which made me love it. The four posts were a pain to put in the cube put but other than that it was smooth sailing! I needed something that my 14 lb Persian could he comfortable in and the plush topped bed is going to be his new spot. My calico loves the oversized cube and I put her blanket inside for extra comfort. After weeks of searching for something they’d both enjoy, I know this was the right house for them! This is just what they needed for their playroom! Great purchase so far just hoping the sisal holds up since I know replacement posts aren’t really a thing with this brand!
Our two cats immediately adapted to their new tree. One plays with the ball every day. My husband put it together which he thought was relatively easy and it is very sturdy overall.
I have two cats that don't like to be near each other, but both want to sit in the sunny window. I wanted a cat tree so they could each have their own ledge. I've read reviews on other trees that were too likely to tip over. I have a chubby cat so I wanted one that was heavier duty and more stable. This one has a large platform base, and the ledges are thick and heavy. The top is large enough for my big cat to comfortably lounge in and she also loves the enclosed space to escape from the younger one who likes to chase her. It seems to be very stable and not likely to tip over. Assembly was easy, the screws are very heavy duty and I love how solid the finished piece is. There is an optional wall support, but I'm not using that. added note, I also purchased a water fountain that I placed on the bottom of it. My younger cat comes running when you turn on a bathroom faucet because he likes to drink the running water. I'm trying to discourage him from getting on those bathroom counters and he seems to love this fountain that is all theirs.
I have 2 decent size cats. Sheldon (orange) is 16 lbs and Temperance (white) is 14 lbs. They absolutely love it. They can both fit into the large cubby hole together, even though Sheldon would prefer if Temperance didn't come in lol. Its extremely sturdy and stands at the hight of a standard light switch. I would definitely recommend this tower for large cats. I know the struggle of finding things They can actually fit in.
I absolutely love how sturdy this thing is. Our cats aren't super heavy (17lbs, max), and the small one has broken a tower and regularly knocks over another one from his jumping on and off them. So we needed a tower that is sturdy, stable, and multi-level. Win! Of course, being the butts they are, our cats haven't warmed up 100% to it yet, but the boy has started using it as a perch to watch me cook instead of just using it to get to the window seat, so I'm counting this thing as a huge win.
This is the 2nd Frisco brand I have purchased and they are sturdy, tough and easy to put together. The cat condo is wonderful! One of my cats is a Maine Coon and the condo is super roomy for him. This will always be my go to brand!
