My cat's former cat tree was shredded, and like me, was wobbly in its old age. I saw this gem and thought, do I have room? What if I go to the hassle of buying and assembling it and my cat doesn't like it? Not to worry! Despite my coaxing, my cat wanted to figure out how to get to the top all on her own, which she did within about a week and now she's the queen boss of the place. She's a 4-year-old 10-pound cat and there isn't so much as a tremor on this beautiful cat tree when she leaps from level to level. It's extremely sturdy, roomy, and as gorgeous as a cat tree can be. I'm in my 60s and built it by myself...instructions are simple (though there were swear words involved a couple of time). I highly recommend!
I’m just frustrated with this tower. First, it was shipped with no hardware. Then, after having dealt with a customer service mess & gotten my replacement, the top piece is now cracking. My cat adores it and that’s the only reason it has any stars, but the amount of hassle it has given me is just not worth $100+. Something that’s this expensive and labeled “heavy duty” should not crack from a 9 pound cat. I typically back Chewy through and through, but this product has not been worth it and I would not recommend.
After reading all the reviews I decided to buy this and I am so glad I did! The instructions were easy to follow and I was able to put it together in under 30 minutes. Very sturdy and heavy duty. Does not wobble when my cats are climbing all over it. The bottom cubby is roomy and the perch is spacious enough to hold both my cats. My boy loves the tall sisal posts as he loves to stretch out to scratch. Highly recommend!
We have a large, 16 years young, mix breed cat who is starting to ask for help getting onto the bed and into his cat tree. Although we use a joint supplement, I wanted to make his life easier all around on him. So, I searched endlessly for an easier to climb, but still tall, cat tree for over a year. Last year, I bought this for him for Christmas and we were beyond excited to upgrade to a newer tree that isn't 7 years old, falling apart, and made of cheap carpet. Well, we were the only ones! In the time that we've had this tree, he still chooses 9/10 to be in the old tree. So, after a year of owning this beautiful piece of cat furniture, I am listing it today on OfferUp to get rid of it. It's a sad day for me, but I'm certain my cat (and patient husband) will be glad to see it go.
My cat loves the tree right away. Maybe they put catnip scent in the materials. The assembly was not as bad as other described. One might need an extra helping hand to balance the tripod while putting the stand and the condo together. Overall, my cat approves his new hideout.
The product was delivered super fast. It went together in less than 30 minutes, and my kitty was crazy for it. It's a great height for climbing and viewing. He loves the bed at the top
We purchased this as an upgrade to our old Frisco cat tree, now about 2 years old. The original one wasn't "heavy duty", and the fleece shredded. The fleece on this one appears to be more substantial. The platforms are also larger, and there is more room for her to stretch and play. I spritzed the scratching posts with a bit of catnip spray after I assembled it to pique her interest, and she jumped right on. She is a two year old 10 lb cat, and she has no trouble getting to and from the top level. It was extremely easy to assemble. The directions are very straightforward, and all of the necessary tools are included. For reference, I am a sixty-something year old woman, and I assembled it alone in under an hour.
This was pretty easy to assemble and setup for my kitten! I like that it's fairly compact but tall enough to make your kitty happy. Only minor downside is that it can be slightly shaky, but it's not a big deal.
I had a Frisco tree from 2019 that was well worn and becoming a hazard because my dumb cat likes to eat the strings as they come off so we needed to replace it. She always liked the top platform on that one (which was small) so I prioritized finding a new tree with a nice large spot at the top. This is perfect! It’s very sturdy, I have no concerns that she will knock it over (she’s about 10-11 pounds). Not too bad to put together. I did it myself in about 30 minutes and only struggled with a couple of the spots where you need to blindly line up the screws with the holes. As soon as I placed kitty on the top level she stretched out and watched us eat dinner from there. Not pictured: her freaking out and screaming for me 15 minutes later when she couldn’t figure out how to get down - but she got the hang of it as soon as I showed her!
This tree/scratch post is perfect for the rambunctious kitties who like to run at full speed onto it. The post doesn't wobble around like the others I've bought thru the years.
