About Frisco Cat Trees

Cat Trees With Sweet Amenities

Frisco Cat Trees are made for kitties to do everything they love to do. Whether your cat is an avid toy chaser or professional napper, she'll be able to do it all in one spot—her very own tree. With so many climbing, jumping, playing and scratching amenities, these trees are great for feline family members in multi-cat households.

Interactive Play Areas

Cats are natural hunters, so they can get a little frisky—even the couch kitties. Frisco Cat Trees have dangling toys like fuzzy balls, swinging ropes and classic mice to stalk and bat around. That's way better than pouncing on your feet under the covers or swatting a string that's hanging from your favorite sweater.

The Ultimate Watchtower

The higher up, the better, if you ask any cat. Frisco agrees, which is why they've added perches and platforms for climbing to the very top of the tower. It's the best view in the house, and the perfect lookout spot for kitty to keep an eye on her sprawling domain.

Kitty-Size Apartments

All-day snoozes are part of your cat's daily routine. Frisco Cat Trees are equipped with state-of-the-art studio apartments for hiding out or catching up on 16+ hours of sleep. They are soft, comfy and they have reinforced corners that are covered in faux fleece or plush material.

Scratcher's Delight

There are tons of places for scratching—a favorite kitty pastime. Let the clawing frenzy begin with high-quality scratch posts covered in durable sisal rope. Frisco's Cat Trees provide multiple posts, and most have scratch board ramps to satisfy this instinct.

2-in-1 Pet Steps

Frisco gives cats plenty of ways to get high off the ground, including pet steps. Set them up next to your kitty's favorite windowsill, or let them stand alone as a place to stretch, climb, play and lounge. These versatile steps offer two different height options to fit your needs. They come with easy-to-follow instructions so you can assemble them as three steps or four.

About Frisco

Frisco's quality products are made for and by a family of pet lovers. And they're more than just everyday pet supplies. Crates become comforting kingdoms, potty pads transform into a favorite patch of grass, and potty bags give the signal that it's time to take care of business. Where is this product manufactured?

I have 4 cats (20lbs, 16lbs, 14lb, and 9lbs).. I know a lot of chunky cats--I rescued them all off the street, and apparently they have been fed very well since then. Haha Will this cat tree be able to hold their weight without breaking? Thanks for your help!
Answer by ChewyMar 10, 2021
This cat tree is suitable for cats of all ages. The large base is great for multi-cat homes, and for added stability it is recommended to use the optional wall mount.

How long are the cylinders that hold the perches and will they hold up under two 13lb cats climbing into them all the time. They seem long and I wonder if they will not get wobbly.
Answer by ChewyJul 12, 2017
The posts are 17.5" in length and would be suitable for two 13 pound cats. We recommend periodically re-tightening the posts to ensure continued stability.

Will a regular sized litter box fit underneath it?
Answer by ChewyAug 16, 2017
While the dimensions of the base are 23.5 x 27.5 inches it's not recommend to keep the potty area near the feline's play area.

She loves it

The Frisco 72 in large base cat tree is a winner in this house. Very easy to build. Sturdy with plenty of places to sleep, hide and play with 10 sisal wrapped cores for her to do her sharpening and stretching. Highly recommend this product.

Definitely the right choice!

I got this cat tree for my 2 cats (ages 1 and 4) because I moved and they needed a place to play and climb. This was relatively easy to assemble, though it did take about 2 hours for me. My cats didn't like it at first, but once I moved it into an area of the house that they already played in, they went crazy. They play on it all day, and take naps in the condos. It doesn't shed fabric everywhere and it hasn't toppled over, even with 2 decent sized cats running all over it. 100% worth the cost and I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Cat tree, works just fine for our 5 cats

This tree is better than the last one. It has rope on all the posts for scratching. The last one had a lot of carpet which got shredded quickly, its also bigger and more stable.

Two happy boys

I bought this tree for two 5 year old brothers I adopted. They more than loved it. The only thing I wish was different, I wish you could replace the posts as they ripped those to shreds pretty quickly. Right through the sisal rope and created big holes in the thick cardboard posts. I bought in 2018 and in 2022, everything else is still in good shape except the posts.

Tree condo

Love this product. It is made well and very sturdy considering it is 6 feet tall. Takes a little time to put it together, but well worth it. Our two fur babies took to it instantly.

Big Hit for My Kittens

My two kittens love this! They used it immediately and now on a daily basis. It was very easy to put together and doesn’t seem flimsy or poorly made, which I was a bit worried about.

My cats love this tree

The best thing about this cat tree is the 3 perches - I have 2 cats and they get along great, except when it comes to high perches. My last cat tree only had one perch and there was more than a little territoriality going on. With three high perches both kitties can be up high, and happy.

GREAT CAT TREE BUT….

Almost perfect. My cat loves it and it’s sturdy. However, putting this together was a nightmare! Some of the holes were fully drilled in for screws and it was so hard to figure out. The end of that made it worth it though. Susie loves it and spends all her time on it.

Sturdy enough for a monster of a cat

Wow! What a job. But well worth it. Took 2 hours. Would have taken less time because I put the short posts on the large lower cubby. hint hint make sure the longer poles go in the bottom house. It will be a tight fit. It was easy to put together for one person who is not mechanically inclined. It is a great size for my 4 year old Maine coon ginormous girl and my new Cymric kitten who will be a massive boy. I am extremely happy with my purchase

Solid purchase

For the price this is the way to go if you have two or more cats. I have a 4yo cat and a smaller tree, just adopted a 6mo old kitten, so I sprang for this larger tree. Both high energy cats that utilize this thing nonstop, sleeping, lounging, or playing. They use both condos, all three perches, and the scratching posts. Top perch is prime real estate. Both cats are under 12lbs but energetic and this won’t tip over. Was initially frustrating to put together, deep breaths and allocate a solid hour(+) to the process.
