So much room

This is really a giant condo complex for my kitty. It was easy to put together and move to where I wanted it. It has two condos with openings on two sides of them,

This is really a giant condo complex for my kitty. It was easy to put together and move to where I wanted it. It has two condos with openings on two sides of them, 3 perches, and platforms she can sit or lay upon. In just the few days it’s been set up, I have seen her in both condos and on one perch. Her last tree had a condo with 2 open sides and she liked to stretch her feet out, so I purposely looked for this one to have that feature. There is an odor with it, but I know that’ll go away eventually. It’s kind of like that new car smell. It’s not a bad odor, but it’s noticeable and does not phase the cat. It would be great for a large cat, or a few cats. Mine is 10lbs, and a healthy 9 year old. She easily climbs up and down this tree which is about 6 feet tall. I’m really happy with this purchase.

So Far So Good

First of all, I did not know this was a sherpa fabric covered cat tree. I think it will get furry much quicker than the other one I had before that was a more silky

First of all, I did not know this was a sherpa fabric covered cat tree. I think it will get furry much quicker than the other one I had before that was a more silky faux fur type situation. Took off a star because it was a little bit tricky to put together (you have to shove the corner supports into the condos, screwing on the ramps was a little bit of a tight fit for your hand/the tool they send) and because dangling cat toys on cat trees are a serious hazard for your cats!! I cut them off right away and didn't install the rope toy. For what it is worth my cats seemed to enjoy them for the moment when they were playing with them while I was putting the tree together, but I am not risking an injury for the sake of play.

I bought this thinking it was exactly the same as the one I bought several years ago. The differences include the caves not being made the same. The new caves have only the sherpa covering the walls, whereas the former cat tree had particleboard covering all the walls, with a higher quality sherpa covering the particleboard. The rope covering the poles is smaller in diameter, meaning the cats will break thru this rope while sharpening their claws, quicker than our old one. One thing that the cats love more is the single rope that hangs from one of the top ledges. It is a really thick piece of rope & they love to chew on it. This cat tree is very sturdy, like the last one. We have a 13 pound ragdoll who jumps onto this & scrambles to the top as fast as he can & I have no fear that it will tip over. Even though it is of lesser quality, I would buy it again as my cats love this thing! It gets used by at least one cat every single day.

We had an older version with only 2 platforms, but the sisal posts were shredded. I wish they sold replacements! The his cat tree seems very stable, but a lot of corners were cut. The condos used to have solid walls and now all the walls are just fabric. The posts are thinner than they used to be, but I am thrilled that they don’t have carpet on them that the cats would shred daily. I think it will hold up okay. The 3rd cat waited a day to use it.

First, I must say that I LOVE LOVE LOVE Chewy. What a great company. Super staff. Now on to this cat tree. I’ll update this review once my cats decide what they think, but putting it together was a real challenge. I’ve assembled at least half a dozen cat trees and this takes the cake for worst instructions. In several instances what was on the instruction sheet was not was happening in real life. I’ll see how it holds up but pretty sure I’ll be going back to Armakat trees in the future. Did I say I love Chewy, though?

This cat tree originally was purchased in 2020 & pasted us a while, so we repurchased it on sale without a thought. VERY DISAPPOINTED that the little cubbies for the cats now have posts in them instead of being solid sided cubbies. That should have been made clear. Other than that, it would be great if posts could be bought separately for repairs. Really bummed that the cubbies changed.

Instant Hit with the Cats

My 3 cats love this thing! They are always on it and it's been a wonderful way to keep them entertained and happy! The mouse toys that dangle really get their interest

My 3 cats love this thing! They are always on it and it's been a wonderful way to keep them entertained and happy! The mouse toys that dangle really get their interest and the scratching post up and down around helps them climb the poles. The only downer was the rope attachment that came with it was pulled off within 5 minutes. I am able to get it back in there for a while but they keep pulling it out. It wasn't the selling point of it though and I'm sure I can DIY fix it.

Super sturdy and looks great!

This was pretty simple to put together (the hardest part was the condos, stretching the fabric to get the rods in was tighter than expected) It took about an hour

This was pretty simple to put together (the hardest part was the condos, stretching the fabric to get the rods in was tighter than expected) It took about an hour for my husband to put together. The large base is awesome and this tree is so sturdy!! I’m a big fan of how it looks and the fabric on it. Of course our baby loves the top perches the best. Our cat doesn’t tear at the fabric, so I think it’s going to hold up for several years. This is a huge cat tree (even seems taller than 72”) and for the price point honestly I think this is the best you can get!! Very happy with this purchase and our baby loves it. The mice are so adorable too
