Cats love it
They tore through it pretty quickly, severing one rope so it hangs off but it still works… I guess I could glue it and it’s about the same price as some cardboard scratch, albeit less disposable.
Easy to set up, cats (and kids) love it
We bought this one because our kids still think unicorns are awesome. The scratching post only took about 10 minutes to unbox and set up. The base is made of two pieces and the post screws into the base pieces with two allen bolts (key included). The unicorn head screws right on top. Both cats went straight to scratching at it, especially our boy. We were surprised, though, at how big the entire thing is: the post itself is pretty big around, and the base is much larger than our previous one, so look carefully at your space. We just moved the post to a different part of the house, and it works great.
product was great but packaging was so bad!!!!!
Omg !!! The moisture silicone bag break !!!! And i open the package all the little ball crystals fell all over the floor! I WAS SO SO SCARED that three or my kitten would eat it. Product was great. It would have been a horrible disaster if my kitten would have eaten it. And those things are poisonous . I DO RECOMMEND THE PRODUCT ITSELF.
Adorable Scratcher
So cute! My cat loves it. My cat's aggressive with scratching posts and this is the first scratcher I've gotten that's actually heavy enough to not fall over when when she uses it without putting weights on it. Easy to put together and well made

Worth the higher cost!
I bought the unicorn and sloth for replacements of shredded posts at my cat sanctuary. These are VERY high quality, heavyweight so the cats can not easily tip them over or move them across the floor, super cute design, and larger than average scratching posts. I will be buying more and I hope they come out with other animals.
An Expensive Miss
This was easy to assemble and looks adorable so I was excited to give it to my 3 cats. They love scratching posts and scratching pads but have zero interest in this. I don't know if it's the unicorn head or the large wooden base, but none of them will go near it. What a waste of money.

Love it...
My cats love this, all of them. The bottom is very sturdy, it's super cute, and doesn't take up a whole lot of space. I will say the only thing I dislike is the height, I wish it was just a few inches taller in the post part. It always looks like my cats are having to really arch their backs just to scratch and they go for the top of course. So I feel that part is going to wear down fast.
