Is this mat chew proof?

This crate mat is resistant to light chewing. However, if your dog is left alone for long periods of time it may not withstand long persistent chew sessions or dogs who are determined to destroy their mat or bed.

My dog gets bored in the crate and likes to chew up crate mats. How will this withstand chewing if I leave my pup unattended while I'm at work?

My dog gets really hot during the night and doesn’t like soft fluffy beds that get hot, does this bed stay relatively cool?

This bed is made with a polyester and nylon blend, and it does not have any cooling features, so it would not heat or cool drastically overnight.

Not easy to clean

I love that this is tougher and durable and just a little padding so my dog won’t overheat, but the instructions for cleaning are to spot clean only. I ended up

I love that this is tougher and durable and just a little padding so my dog won’t overheat, but the instructions for cleaning are to spot clean only. I ended up washing it with my hose and scrub brush and then it took over 24 hours to air dry. Wont purchase again bc of that.

Great mat, but water leaks through

There were a few times my dogs got on it while wet, and I didn’t know it leaked through until I moved the crate to mop, and it had rusted the metal on the crate

There were a few times my dogs got on it while wet, and I didn’t know it leaked through until I moved the crate to mop, and it had rusted the metal on the crate causing it to transfer to my floor. Definitely keep the plastic crate pad underneath it (mine broke that why I didn’t have it) and it would be great! Still eating 4/5 because it’s great otherwise!

Pretty solid

My rabbit had this in his crate for a full year before he tore the stitching out. Lasted much longer than the other beds I have gotten him in the past.

Good price, quality product

Exactly what I wanted for my guy’s kennel. Surprisingly plush - not as thin as a velvet pad, not as oversized in the space as a bed. The best part (to me, anyway)

Exactly what I wanted for my guy’s kennel. Surprisingly plush - not as thin as a velvet pad, not as oversized in the space as a bed. The best part (to me, anyway) is the durable fabric on the outside. Seems like it will hold up wait to his nails, and small spills or slobber are no problem. Can’t attest to how it would hold up against chewing since luckily my dog is pretty chill, but the surface fabric seems like a better bet than a lot of even more expensive options out there.

My GSD is four years old now we bought her every single bed. You can buy from comfort to whatever and she’s cheered it up. She was sleeping on towels and a blanket

My GSD is four years old now we bought her every single bed. You can buy from comfort to whatever and she’s cheered it up. She was sleeping on towels and a blanket and missing and that. I was very uncomfortable. Once I put this pad in her crate, she absolutely loved it. I put her blankets up put her towels in there and all she’s done is sleep the night since this happened. My girl is a tour, but she has not touched this and it’s only been in her crate for two weeks so I will update later. But I totally 100% think this should be something that you should buy.

Decent bed

The size of the bed is good and it does a pretty decent job of keeping stains on top and it’s easy to hose off. wish it was a little more indestructible as my dog

This fits Chloe's crate perfectly. It's well padded and she's comfortable on it. Her long hair does not cling to it. It cleans with a damp paper towel.
