Our dog Sunny loves this tug toy. She loves playing tug of war and it’s very high quality. She is a mini Goldendoodle and is about 30 pounds. I don’t think it would be good for sustained chewing but she has chewed it a bit and it’s still in great shape. She loves playing tug of war with us and the kids love it too. She also sat with it for 30 min the other day as a little headrest (see photo) haha!

Not suitable for smaller dogs

I gave this toy 4 stars because it is sturdy and good quality, but my dogs cannot use the toy. I have 5 Boston Terriers who enjoy playing with many "big dog" toys,

I gave this toy 4 stars because it is sturdy and good quality, but my dogs cannot use the toy. I have 5 Boston Terriers who enjoy playing with many "big dog" toys, however this toy is so hard that it caused their mouths to bleed. I was disappointed because they absolutely loved it and were playing 5 way tug-of-war with it, but we had to take it away because we found a good amount of blood all over it. It was described as being made of rubber, but it is not. It is a hard, unforgiving plastic that tore up their mouths. This wasn't made clear in the description. Dear Chewy, please update the description to reflect this fact.

Not durable!!

I bought this for my heavy chewer. He destroyed it in a matter of hours. And by destroyed , he chewed it into many many pieces and consumed them. Not blaming anyone

I bought this for my heavy chewer. He destroyed it in a matter of hours. And by destroyed , he chewed it into many many pieces and consumed them. Not blaming anyone but myself as he was left unattended. He ate half of the toy. I got him to vomit half and he passed the rest of the pieces I'm his stool. So definitely recommend supervised chewing/playing!

Not Durable

Toy broke within an hour of my dog playing with it. The rubber ring broke in half after he was chewing on it. Did ok with Tug of War.

Although I chose this product, I wasn't sure Archie was going to like it because it looked soo big and heavy. I was wrong, he LOVES IT.He plays with it for at least for an hour by himself and with us forget it, he has soo much fun. He hasn't had a toy he haven't destroy, no matter what material; so when I saw the Frisco Dual Handle bright yellow tug toy at first I thought it would be too big and heavy for him but the material looked very strudy and I went for it. He took to it from day one, the grip is excellent for him, made of really strong rubber, the dual loop shape handles are comfortable for him and us. We arae both having hours of plain fun. I am so glad I got it for him, this will last him for a long time. (Love the color)

My dog has always loved playing tug, and she absolutely LOVES this toy. Not only can she easily bite onto it, but it also has held up really well to her yanking

My dog has always loved playing tug, and she absolutely LOVES this toy. Not only can she easily bite onto it, but it also has held up really well to her yanking on it. Plus, it offers a comfortable and SAFE grip for me to hold. No more accidental bites when my dog gets too excited! This is a great toy overall!

I got this toy thinking my Collies would play tug together. Wishful thinking. They both really like playing with this. It seems pretty durable, and is holding up

I got this toy thinking my Collies would play tug together. Wishful thinking. They both really like playing with this. It seems pretty durable, and is holding up well even to a little chewing. My male Border Collie especially likes this, and he'll play tug with us. Its easy to spot outside in the grass and wooded areas due to it's size and color. I was surprised by its size. It was much bigger than I expected and would be great for a larger sized dog.

As advertised, the Frisco Dual Handle Tug is NOT a chew toy; Noble did manage to put a small fang hole in it when we looked away for a few seconds.
