Teeth snag in the rope

We got out box in today and pulled this out first! Our girl was SO EXCITED to get a new toy. The ball part is okay. The handle part in my opinion is good, my daughter

We got out box in today and pulled this out first! Our girl was SO EXCITED to get a new toy. The ball part is okay. The handle part in my opinion is good, my daughter feels the texture is horrendous. It is definitely different, but I feel like you get decent traction holding it. The rope on the other hand is HORRIBLE. It feels cheap and in less than five minutes has snags in it where our puppy's teeth keep catching! I'm honestly afraid she will pull her teeth out and we will not be using this for our dog. This is not typical the characteristics of Kong toys but to say we are beyond disappointed is an understatement.

This toy is sturdy and well-made. I work with animals full time so I had bought it for work... but I can’t find a single dog who wants it. It’s great in theory, and I have no doubt that it’s durable enough to keep long-term. I’m sure I’ll be carrying this around until I find a dog who actually loves it. In my experience, this toy just isn’t a very popular choice with dogs in general. If you have a toy fiend who will tug anything, don’t let me stop you from buying this! But if your pup is picky about toys, I wouldn’t choose this unless your dog is really and truly obsessed with *rubber* balls.

Fifth time replacing this absolute hit of a tug! Our dutchie trains with tugs for their job and needs something tough enough for her but comfortable enough to hold

Fifth time replacing this absolute hit of a tug! Our dutchie trains with tugs for their job and needs something tough enough for her but comfortable enough to hold. We have tried every k9 tug on the market and this is by far the best one. It lasts a really long time, perfect size and again comfortable for a human hand. Cannot recommend enough

Husky chewed the ball end in 3min

Welp, there goes that. He was able to rip apart the ball end in a few minutes. Didn’t even have a chance to tug-o-war with it. Usually, Kong lasts a bit longer

I bought this because she loves to play tug a war
