Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again.
You’ll go to any length to keep your kitty’s box fresh—and so can this scooper! It has an extendable design so you can scoop with less bending or kneeling, and slots to hold waste and clumps while letting fresh litter fall through. The oversized, bucket-shaped scoop lets you take on even the busiest and biggest boxes. Plus, after cleanup, it shrinks for easy storage.
Key Benefits- Extendable design lets you scoop while helping to reduce bending or kneeling.
- Change the length easily—turn clockwise to unlock and extend, then counterclockwise to lock in place at your desired length.
- Oversized bucket scoop is perfect for larger or multi-cat boxes.
- Slots hold solid clumps and waste while letting fresh litter fall through.
- Shrink it down to store it easily after you’re done scooping.
Keep out of reach of children. A parasite sometimes found in cat feces can cause toxoplasmosis in pregnant women and those with suppressed immune systems. Always wash hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter.

Handle does not stay extended
By Rosie on Jan 14, 2021
After having back surgery and not able to bend anymore, I needed to find a cat litter scoop with a longer handle. I found this one online and with no alternatives, decided to give it a try. The quality of the metal is excellent...but...the handle does not stay extended. Once you lengthen it, you are supposed to twist the handle to tighten it. Well, it tightens - until the first time you go to use it any put any amount of pressure on the handle at all - and it collapses back down to the original short length. I called Chewy Customer Service, and they immediately offered to send out a replacement. That one also does not stay in the extended position when trying to use it to scoop litter - After having back surgery and not able to bend anymore, I needed to find a cat litter scoop with a longer handle. I called Chewy Customer Service, and they immediately offered to send out a replacement. That one also does not stay in the extended position when trying to use it to scoop litter - it collapses right back down to regular length. I came up with an idea so we could use it - to drill holes through both holes of the handle in the extended position, and put a nail or other strong metal pin through both handles and secure it - that way the handle cannot collapse! My husband used zip ties instead but with the same concept - drill 2 holes, put the zip tie through the holes and pull it as tight as possible. Now the scoop works fine, with about a 2ft. reach when extended. I would have given it a 1-star rating, but because of the great customer service from Chewy and the fact that we were able to repair it for functional use, I gave it a 2-star rating. But please beware that there are many, many reviews online about this product, mostly discussing the handle issues. But no one provided an answer on how to fix it, so hopefully this review will help in that regard. … more

Great but BIG
By eodell86 on Dec 14, 2020
I like this scoop. It's strong and sturdy and gets the litter to the genie without any major spilling. My one issue is that it is a BIG scoop, so if you use a litter genie, or like me, a diaper genie, you might have issues getting all the litter inside the opening. However this is a GREAT extendable scoop for the price. I may get a smaller scoop for litter, and use this on back yard dog poops. I saw some notes saying it doesn't lock in place when you extend, but it does. It says right on the thing that you twist to lock. It's only unextended once and that was because I had untwisted it.

Surprised and Not in a Good Way!
By KittyMomma on Jan 3, 2021
I can't believe this item is listed as a litter scooper. I ordered it because I prefer metal instead of plastic scoopers and thought this one was a normal-sized scooper with an extendable handle. It's not normal sized. The handle is 17 1/2 inches long and the scooper part is 5 1/2" x 6." It's so big it could almost be listed as a shovel.

Awesome find!
By Apache1795 on Dec 11, 2020
I purchased this for a senior friend with multiple disabilities including a recent back fusion. She has used a heavy metal hand scooper for years. This find was a godsend for her. She can sit on her rollator and scoop the litter, put into a raised container and tie the bag all without stress. I was worried it would be flimsy and easily break on the arm but is very solid and all decent metal. Am buying one for myself now! Would be nice if slightly curved but then it might not extend to the good length it does!

Heavier Than Expected
By Deee on Jan 10, 2021
I was looking forward to not having to bend over to clean my litter box, but this scoop doesn't have a sharp enough edge to scoop up under a clot of solidified urination, and the scoop's weight makes it uncomfortable to use easily. Too bad. Would not recommend. Best to see one in person before ordering.

A good idea, but physics is against you...
By Gail on Nov 30, 2020 Top 1000 Contributor
...unless you are a super strong person. I had one of these years ago that I tried which was cheap plastic and wouldn't lock open, bent, etc. Figured I'd try this heavy duty one since I am getting to the point with my old bones that leaning over or getting down on my hands and knees is rather painful. However... I should have thought this through better. The nature of physics is that the longer the handle, the more effort will be needed to push through the litter and lift it. Makes this harder to use and more painful than just getting down on the ground with a shorter handled scoop :( If you are young and strong and lift weights a lot, this would work great for you. The holes in the scoop are much larger than they look in the picture. … more

This is a great litter mover, not much for scooping...
By NoScoopScoop on Jan 2, 2021
The construction is sturdy & the concept is great... BUT the stupid holes are too dang big!! So much used litter just will not get collected, so very very much! I hate it, I can't wait to find a decent replacement, for now I'm just wasting my time & litter. Stupid design, did they not test it at any point?!?

Extendable Litter Scooper
By Milo on Jan 10, 2021
The Frisco Extendable Litter Scooper is definitely the handle length I needed. I have health issues with knee and back operations. This scooper is the perfect handle size so I do not have to bend down at all. The length of the handle is also adjustable and can be locked at a specific length.

Great for those with Mobility issues.
By WRB1 on Nov 11, 2020
Because living through a global pandemic, social unrest, riots, heat waves, massive wildfires, and poison air quality was not enough- I fell and badly broke my leg. So I am stuck in a wheelchair for three months. No way I could reach the litter box with a regular scoop, so I searched and found this one. With this scoop extended to it's full length, i can easily scoop out the litter box on the floor without risking falling out of the wheelchair. Really recommend this for anyone who has a hard time getting around or those with very stiff backs who can't bend down. Very nice quality, well-made, strong metal and adjustable to the length you need.

Almost a good idea
By Dcmacke on Jan 11, 2021
The long handle is the right answer to a short problem, however It offers very little strength and control when extended. When litter clumps you need to be able to dig in and get it loose sometimes. When extended this product just doesn’t offer that ability.
