Great for calming my pup down.

We've been working on crate training our new mini dachshund puppy. He used to panic when he was able to see us through the crate, but fares much better when he has less stimuli to deal with outside. He now willingly climbs into the crate and settles down when asked. The quality of the product itself is also well-made and fits the dimensions of his crate snugly. Very happy with this purchase.

Nice Crate Cover

Did I need this? No, the ginormous hot pink beach towel almost fully covered the crate except for half a foot on the bottom. It does mean the 42 inch crate is a slightly less ugly feature in my living space as the cover provides nicer lines and isn’t hot pink…Also, the dog seemed even more excited to go into their now darker crate so that’s helpful. I used a butterfly clip on one side to get the panels in the back to close a little better.

Would Choose Another Option

If you are looking for a simple, easy to use, crate cover then this is for you. However, if your dog’s tail wags through the crate, or if they brush against it, the cover does not stay in place. It does the job to cover but I would recommend one with securement devices that keep the cover in place and attached to the crate.

Cute addition to the kennel

The cover fits our 42in Frisco kennel well and was easy to put on. I got this to try to contain the fur inside the kennel and it is doing a good job with that. On top or that it makes the kennel a cozier home and looks nicer in the house.

Well-made Cover

Tailored to fit well. Nice fabric. Fits a Frisco 36 crate nicely. Stays in place for mature dog. Waiting for puppy to stop pulling blanket covers into crate before using. Does not insulate well, so I placed a down comforter over it.

Nice cover for indoors

Nice lightweight cover. Fits the crate perfectly. Love the option of 2 door openings like our crate. Only complaint is that it's annoying to roll the flap under. Would be easier if it rolled and snapped on top. But otherwise, very happy.

Game changer for my whiner!

So have a younger dog who was thrown out in the cold with his sister and I'm assuming was taken away from mom way too early, but anyways he whines about everything.. at night he would whine alllll night, I bought this because blankets wouldn't work as he chews them up through his Kennel, this thing has seriously saved my sanity.

Just what I needed!

Needed to keep a crate up in the bedroom for a new dog. I always like to put something to go between crate and walls just to keep them cleaner. This cover worked out great! I have two sides that are on a wall so the cover protects the wall and I roll up the other two sides ( one side is the door and the other side looks out to the bedroom). Very nice material and makes the crate area look neater.

Does not clip to crate

Overall, this crate cover is fine. The material it's made of is not very thick and I was under the impression when I purchased that it would have some kind of clasps like velcro to actually clip to the crate. Because it just hangs over the crate and doesn't connect in any way, my dog just rips it off the first chance she gets. Would have much preferred a cover that actually connects to the crate in some way so it can't be pulled off.

Dog Kennel Cover

These dog kennel covers for perfectly and our pups love the "den" feel. They sleep better. It's perfectly cool and warm. They are very durable. It's a tough material which can be washed.
