Glow in the Dar Lattice Ball

Poor quality! Our mini sheep-a-doodle tore up this toy in less that 2 hours. We never had a chance to see it glow in the dark.

The texture is super cool.

the brightness of the glow!

A glowing marvel

I was a little surprised at the size of this ball, it is larger than I imagined, the description says medium/large and I thought that it was suggestive of dog size

I was a little surprised at the size of this ball, it is larger than I imagined, the description says medium/large and I thought that it was suggestive of dog size. The ball is larger than my hand. However, this glow-in-the-dark toy is undeniably captivating and easy to find in the dark. The glow lasts a long time. Unfortunately, and very disappointing for me, none of my 5 standard poodles wants to play with it. I’ve tried during the day and in the dark after energizing the ball. I don’t know if it is the large size, the texture, the shape, or maybe smell, but they don’t want anything to do with it.

Much more solid than I thought

So, I have an 11 year old German Shepherd and he’s beyond active. We walk 5-7 miles every single day, seven days per week. Even at the age of 11, he loves chasing

So, I have an 11 year old German Shepherd and he’s beyond active. We walk 5-7 miles every single day, seven days per week. Even at the age of 11, he loves chasing the tennis ball or frisbee. Here’s the problem, as he gets older, once he retrieved the tennis ball or the frisbee, he’ll lay down with it and start to chew on it. I kid you not, within minutes, he’ll have the tennis ball opened up and torn apart and the frisbee will be chewed up and he bites off tiny pieces. Here comes the great news about this toy; this thing is virtually indestructible!!! Once I received it, I handed it to him and he took it into the living room, laid down and chewed on this thing for about 30 mins straight. The photos I posted are AFTER he was chewing on them; barely any marks! Additionally, I had no idea until later into the evening when I took him out for his final walk (he has to carry a ball or frisbee in his mouth when we walk) that the ball glows in the dark! And let me tell you, it is BRIGHT. Our 2 year old daughter is utterly fascinated by the glow feature so sometimes it’s a battle between these two over WHO gets to use this toy/ball. Bottom line, if you have a dog who is an aggressive chewed and typically shreds and destroys every toy and every ball you give them, you have to give them a shot with this toy. Between the solid size (for larger dogs) the indestructible material (always supervise your pet) and the glow in the dark feature, this is the trifecta of “the perfect toy”. Highly recommend!

Just ok for my dogs

This ball has some neat features such as “glow in the dark” and the lattice design. However, it also had some features I don’t really understand and it is not small

This ball has some neat features such as “glow in the dark” and the lattice design. However, it also had some features I don’t really understand and it is not small. It should be described as M only, rather than S/M. It was a little large for my 7 and 9 pounders. They kinda watched it in the dark (the glow in the dark is really cool) but weren’t really interested in fetching and carrying it. Also, see the pictures, there is one lattice location that is closed. I don’t really understand that aspect. I also don’t understand the wide open, flat bottom. I know some people appreciate it but I think it kinda defeats the purpose of a rolling ball. Unfortunately, this product was a miss for us. There are more appropriate small animal toys and balls out there.

My dogs absolutely loved this new toy. It was fun at night to see them chase after it in the dark. My one dog loves anything he can clamp down on like rings so he loved the lattice of this ball because he could hold on and shake his head. My dogs are big (85 and 120 lbs) and this ball is still in one piece after a week. That is unusual as they rip everything up in minutes. Glows really bright and bounces quite nicely.
