I bought the 1st ball about 4 years ago and it was a harder sturdier plastic and lasted up until a couple months ago. I ordered a new 1 and she had it chewed up in 5 minutes... why was the product changed??

There are some pros and cons to this ball. My dog is in large 95 pound Burmese mountain dog I didn’t think that the small would actually fit in his mouth and he put his whole mouth over it. There are some scratch marks from his teeth so we only use it for interaction with him so he doesn’t Chew on it. It definitely needs to be supervised by an adult for your dog.

A long time ago I had two Jack Russell terriers. A smooth coated brother and a rough coated sister. I got them something called a Jolly Ball that made a most obnoxious squeal. The two of them would chase it to exhaustion. Now I recently rescued a 10 year old smooth coated JRT. Thought of that long ago Jolly Ball and thought Jax might like it. He came with a couple of toys that squeeked that he went crazy for. On Chewy, I found another version of the Jolly Ball, smaller than the one I used to have but not so small that he could easily carry it.. This ball makes the same obnoxious laugh\squeal but it glows in the dark. Jax goes crazy for this. We let him use it in the house but also outdoors in the fenced back yard. Since it does glow in the dark, the fun doesn't stop when the sun goes down. Because my husband and I don't have the energy we used to, this ball makes sure Jax gets enough exercise to tire him out and keep his weight in check. I highly recommend this toy for a pet that loves to play. Now that I'm thinking about it,I should get one for my shelter.

Changed the amount of tubes

The packaging is unclear whether it has 4 pockets or 6 pockets. My dog is only able to pick it up with her mouth when there are 6 pockets. There is one photo saying

hilarious!

My dog loves this toy and will bat it about by herself and play giggle ball soccer with we humans. She is not able to chew it but can pick it up. It's hilarious

Way to big for a big dogs mouth
