Durability
This ball seems to be made of a good material for dogs. The problem is that the layers where the different colors are bonded together are coming apart in the bonded seams. The material with the little knobs seems to stimulate the dogs and they don’t just chew like with tennis balls.
-1 star for odor
I got this ball about a month ago, and it is holding up great! It was immediately our dog’s new favorite toy, but I’m not sure how I missed that it’s beef scented? Our dog likes to lose this ball under the couch.. and I thought I was losing my mind. I shampooed the couch and washed the blankets because I couldn’t figure out what stunk! It was this ball, it’s still his favorite, unfortunately, and the smell hasn’t dissipated yet..My husband and I agree it smells like urine and deli meat.
Great toy for a tough chewer
I bought this ball in December for my 80 lb pitbull - it is still in perfect condition. She loves to just walk around with it and she will also lay on the couch and chews/bite this thing till she passes out. One of my favorite toys for her - we live in a very snowy area, so this is perfect for her to get some sensory exercises while we are cooped up inside.
Good not great
My almost 1 year old bull boxer pit puppy absolutely loved this ball. It could not withstand his chewing though. After one day, it no longer squeaked and after about a week, he was chewing a hole into it. I would recommend this to a less powerful chewer and to monitor use as it has a metal bell inside which could be dangerous if chewed or swallowed. Better than other ball toys, but not so durable.
The absolute best dog ball every
My dog LOVES this ball and has not destroyed it at all and it's been a month of daily use. As a German Shepard puppy he has destroyed everyother one we have had. I can tell he loves the nubby textures and will chew on it when relaxing or chase it like crazy when playing. This is now our forever Toy!
Ball is life
My dog loves this ball. The squeeker gave out day 3 and he still squeezes it. He will actively look for it and keeps trying to smuggle it inside. It doesn't look like it will last long, but we will likely order a replacement.
not so tough
My blue heeler LOVES this ball he’s obsessed with it. Can’t put it down. Only down fall is it’s not so durable.. he has pulled off bits of it within a week. He’s a big chewer and pulls toys a part. He loves the air that comes out when he bites down there was never any squeak just the jingle bell inside. t’s a great stimulation toy but he’s destroyed the thing. Definitely smells weird as well
Disappointing
The toy seems fine. And I should have paid more attention to the disclaimer that color may vary. I bought what was in the picture for a very particular reason, and when the wring color combo came, it completely ruined the effect of the gift.
Fun and Durable
This is my pups favorite toy. She's an aggressive chewer too and it holds up. She the dog that while playing fetch will get the ball and chew for a minute then bring you the ball to throw again lol all other balls don't hold up to that chewing. We purchased 2 more of the larger ones which she loves as well.
love/hate ball
Theodore absolutely adored this ball. It lasted about two or three weeks which is impressive for him. But the did pop the squeak sound within a day. However. Today he ripped the one layer off which allowed me to get to the squeaker and bell inside. I’m very disappointed to see that the bell was completely rusted and the inside of the ball was discolored due to the rust. I’m not sure if the bell was rusted prior to getting the ball or if from all of his drool in three weeks it rusted the bell.
