Is the handle/rod slightly flexible?

The wand is made of hard plastic so it will not bend very much.

How do you detach/reattach the different options? There is one option tied to the long string so cannot switch them

Each attachment is attached to a string with a twist-off plastic clip attached to the other end. The plastic clips can be removed and reattached to the wand. To add an attachment, insert it and twist it 90 degrees clockwise. To remove an attachment, twist it 90 degrees counterclockwise and pull it out.

Short: Very fun. Very sturdy for string, handle, and attachment area. String and handle longer than expected, but not a bad thing for my case. Be careful if your cat likes to dart away- string and handle may be dragged along and potentially tangle up around cat, usually around leg/foot- easy to detangle when that happens (at least for me and my cat). My cat Sebastian likes to play with this. His favorite topper is the pumpkin. Only one time so far since the delivery did he "ask" for a different topper by pawing at it (and looking up with the cutest big eyes). The handle is long and sturdy. The initial string part is long as well (longer than I expected). The attachment part is both easy to interchange toppers with, but is also sturdy enough during intense play that is doesn't snap off. We usually play "Little Fishy" in where Sebastian is hiding underneath something and I act like a fisherman. It takes sometime for Sebastian to actually go for the "lure", but when he does the handle starts to bend forward like a fishing-pole would (sometimes so much I'm afraid he would let go and hit my face, but so far that hasn't happened.) Once he catches the lure and had his fun, he likes to bolt away to another hiding spot. Sometimes he goes so fast and unexpectedly that he takes the whole thing with him, (but not too often). 99.9% of the time this happens, it drops to the side before he hides, but that other .1%, the string wraps around him usually his foot/leg. Only one time did it wrap around his upper body/neck area when he went under the couch, but we were able to get it untangled swiftly.

We got the toys on a stick for both Molly & Ziggy, but Molly claimed them IMMEDIATELY, laying on them all! She has been enamored with them since (going on a couple weeks now)! While the selections are interchangeable, we haven't swapped them out yet. Her favorite is the pumpkin - and she likes to carry it around. She also likes that the stick is solid so she can play with it under blankets as well as "fishing." This is a widely diverse, interactive toy. DEFINITELY sure to please! Score for Halloween, and year round for any spooky household!

My cats love wand toys so this was a big hit with my cats. The toys even came with catnip so that was a plus! They are easy to snap on and they cute too. I have always liked Halloween so this was perfect for my cats. They like grabbing the toys and giving them bunny kicks. The toy didn’t cost much either so that was a plus. I’ll be giving them a lot of playtime with this toy.

To cute, when he realized they were all his he rubbed them all over and nuzzled my face all over as well. He’s really become a love bug.

My kitten LOVES this wand. I’ve bought 4-5 different wands in the couple of months I’ve had her and this is by far the best quality and design. The string is elastic so it’s super stretchy, and the toys are a lil heavier so it whips around really well and launches if you pull it away from them. I love how long the cable is, and that changing out the toy is as simple as snapping it on. The only other interchangeable wand I’ve had had the worst design to put the attachments on the string so this was an huge win imo. Also obviously love the spooky theme!! I opened the box about 10 minutes ago and almost immediately upon playing with it RAN to make this review. I got it just to hit a minimum for a promo but I’m so so glad I did, and will absolutely purchase again and any attachments I find for it!
