For my 65lb Malinois and 95lb American bulldog we have been looking for more interactive and long lasting toys.They are both “super chewers” but the hard plastic toys we’ve been finding are not a match. Day one with their new doughnut they played tug and did independent chewing as well. I like the weight and texture of the material. They’re able to push it to the back of their jaw and chew on it like a piece of taffy without the material breaking down or creating a choking hazard like a ball. I’m not sure if they can taste the peanut butter flavor. Compared to Frisco‘s vanilla cupcake, which leaves a delicious lingering scent, I would say the peanut butter doughnut has almost no scent at all.

When I opened this toy I knew right away that the rubbery material was durable enough for my dogs chewy mouth. It sparked interest at first, but then after a day or so he does not choose that toy over others. It may be too hard to chew and destroy so he will lose interest in those kind of things. I will keep offering it and playing with him since it’s such a fun design. Thank you for sending this!

Great for a heavy chewer!

As a heavy chewer, Brewster will tear apart most things so I’m very careful to only buy the toys made specifically for that purpose! This toy is advertised as such

As a heavy chewer, Brewster will tear apart most things so I’m very careful to only buy the toys made specifically for that purpose! This toy is advertised as such and is a great example of a great toy for heavy chewers! He can gnaw on it and he also likes to play fetch with it. It gets a good bounce when thrown. My only complaint would be that he focuses on the little sprinkles and has been able to get a few of those off - but I found the little pieces.

My Bernadoodle practically opened the package by herself! I could smell a faint whiff of peanut butter but it must smell much stronger to the puppy nose because my Boots could not wait to get her teeth into this. It is very sturdy, I did not expect it to be this tough, it will be good for the heavier chewers in your pack, It is also heavier than I expected so probably not suitable for small dogs.

When I opened the Halloween donut chew dog toy for my Aussie I thought it would a great chew toy for him. It is a solidly made product and he loves peanut butter

When I opened the Halloween donut chew dog toy for my Aussie I thought it would a great chew toy for him. It is a solidly made product and he loves peanut butter. Unfortunately, I believe it is too heavy for him. He is 11 years old and doesn’t play like he used to. He sniffed and attempted to pick it up but seemed to struggle with it. I’ve put it in his toy box and he goes over and looks at it but doesn’t pick it up.
