Using a standard 8 oz/250 ml measuring cup which contains approximately 112 g of Pro Plan. Puppies start to nibble solid foods at 3 - 4 weeks of age. Keep moistened Pro Plan available at all times. Allow your puppy to eat at will until fully weaned (6 - 8 weeks). After weaning, Pro Plan can be fed moistened or dry. For best results, develop a regular feeding schedule such as three small meals a day for younger puppies. You can gradually reduce to one feeding in the morning and one in the evening as your puppy ages. The routine should not vary. As puppies near adulthood, their calorie needs may drop, and your puppy may begin leaving some food in the bowl. Don't misinterpret this as an indication of dislike for the food. Instead, begin offering less so your puppy doesn't overeat and stays in ideal body condition.
Making The Switch To Pro Plan Although You'Ll Be Anxious To See The Difference Pro Plan Can Make In Your Dog, Please Allow 7 - 10 Days To Ease The Transition From Your Dog'S Current Food. Each Day, Simply Feed A Little Less Of The Previous Food And A Little More Pro Plan Until You'Re Feeding Pro Plan Exclusively. This Gradual Transition Will Help Avoid Dietary Upsets.

Mine hates it
By Pupper on Feb 14, 2021
My dog may just be picky (and has a sensitive stomach) but he hates this. He would avoid it until he was just too hungry. At first I thought he just disliked dry kibble (because he wasn’t fond of the prior brand either) so I tried to make it more appealing by adding wet food, broth, or stew toppers. Even though it says sensitive skin and stomach it hasn’t helped his frequent soft stool. Finally I got two new brands (bixbi rawbble and hills science diet) and by comparison he LOVES those brands. It turns out he likes dry kibble enough, just not Purina ProPlan.

New brand for sensitive skin
By Gunner on Feb 18, 2021
My new beagle puppy has been on American Journey puppy food, which he enjoyed. However he has developed a skin rash on his chest which my vet is aware and has treated. It has continued and I asked Chewy to recommend another brand that may help. He has been on Purina Pro plan for sensitive skin for 2 weeks, likes it and redness has subsided. I am anxious to see if further improvement continues. Thank you for all the care and attention you provide all your fur families!

So far so good. Fingers crossed.
By Mayliz on Mar 2, 2021
We have a puppy with a very sensitive stomach. So far this seems to be working for him. His diarrhea has cleared up. The cost is of course more than I would like to spend, but it is worth it for his stomach. I purchased on auto ship for the cost savings and to guarantee we will have it when needed as it is not always stocked at the stores around us.

Mack is finally on the right food
By TonyaT on Feb 19, 2021
Let me start by saying this is the 6th food we have tried with all other’s causing terrible diarrhea and unable to gain weight. Now he is “regular” after the first feeding and is growing and gaining weight not to mention his coat is so soft and shiny. It’s nice to sleep through the night without running outside cause he has diarrhea.

Best Puppy Food in the World
By Sarah on Jan 25, 2021
Helps with my Scotties’ sensitive skin and tummies more than any good they have ever tried. I tried to switch to a cheaper lamb flavored food (did over 1.5 weeks), but the stomach upset and loose poops wasn’t worth saving a few bucks at all. Pro Plan is absolutely a wonderful food, and I couldn’t be happier than they make a sensitive stomach/skin PUPPY formula! Mine don’t like salmon flavor so prefer this version, which is even better! Here is Oliver’s clean dish! :)

great choice
By Vickie on Mar 1, 2021
We tried many of the even more expensive brands looking for puppy foods without chicken, which for our pup was a real irritant. This is the best yet!!! Our girl loves it, she has no more irregular bowels and her skin and coat have become shinier and less dry. We'll stick with this one

Life saver for loose stools!
By MarshMello on Jan 19, 2021
This food has been the only one to help getting rid of my puppies chronic diarrhea. My pup has been battling giardia and hasn't once not had diarrhea since we got him. Once we switched to the lamb & oatmeal, he had his first solid stool and continues to have them! The kibble is on the smaller size but this formula has worked wonders for us! We also switched at the recommendation of our vet due to the concerns of grain free diets & DCM! if your pup has loose stools buy a small bag and try it! We are going to try switching our older dog to the adult version!

Greatly Improved GI Health of My Aussie
By Lauren on Jan 4, 2021
Prior to starting this food, my Australian Shepherd was having issues with not expressing his anal glands due to loose stools. We decided to make the switch to a more tried and true brand, Purina, and go with a gentler formula. I am so glad we did! So far, he has had firmer stools and way less itching. We haven't had to get his glands expressed so far either!

So worth it!
By Tedster on Dec 2, 2020
My dog was recently in the ICU for kidney/liver issues so I decided to get him a different brand that would support his GI health. He also was itching a ton. My pup devours this food and he's pretty picky with dog food. Plus, he's stopped itching as much and I believe it's helped his kidney/liver issues. He now sits on his food mat waiting for the food. We have a vet appt tomorrow to see how his kidney/liver functions are doing... but all in all, I recommend this if any puppy is picky, itchy, or has any GI issues.

Just What She Needed...
By LovinPups on Dec 31, 2020
New puppy in the house and GI issues. Not my first rodeo with that, but long story short I knew what to do. Kept a journal of everything going in & out and after a couple of weeks... chicken! Have changed her over to this and doing very well. Highly recommend if your pup is having GI issues!
