I bought this for my son's huskie and hound dog. They haven't had any Purina One for a while so they ate it all up. They are both extremely snoopy, and I have been trying a lot of different brands to tempt them. It was a pleasant surprise to see them clean up their bowls of a less expensive brand. I bought the puppy food as it was on sale.
My pup does not particularly care for the taste, but she will eat it once she is hungry enough, which is a step up from most of the kibbles I have tried. She also does not seem to have digestive issues as with many other brands. I gave a few cans to my neighbor who is fostering a puppy and her pup woofed down the food, so it must taste good. Sadly, I will keep looking for things that my puppy will actually want to eat.
My poodle puppy is a picky eater, but I started adding this to his dry food and he eats it up. My puppy also has allergies, but this food doesn’t upset his stomach or make him itchy. Now that he’s getting older, I’ll look for an adult version of this food.
I gave this food to my 21 month old Auggie. She loves it. I add one raw egg with it for her 1st meal and half a can of this food. Devours it. Licks every morsel off the bowl. Mind you she is a super picky eater. I like the mix of ingredients. It is surprisingly good for a large mainstream brand.
This dog food has quality ingredients for the price. There are no meat-by-products, which is important to me.
My puppy loves the lamb and long grain rice formula, he's growing fast.
I have a 12 week old Great Dane puppy who was not too enthusiastic about dry kibble. He would pick at it, but wasn't eating nearly as much as he should. I bought some of this and mixed it with his kibble and some hot water... Total game changer. He goes crazy for his meals now!!
I feed this to all ages as puppy food offers more nourishment. The dogs love it
My rescue at it at first but once he passed the starvation stage he was in when I got him he won't touch it. He's decided he doesn't like lamb. He prefers chicken and has to have gravy. Go figure...
We mix this with dry food. They absolutely love and devour it.
