You should consider transitioning gradually to new pet foods to help eliminate any digestive issues. We recommend consumers introduce a new pet food over a period of 7 - 10 days to help avoid digestive upset. The first day we recommend mixing 10 percent of the new food with 90 percent of the current food. Each day, increase the amount of the new food while decreasing the amount of the current food.
So My McNabbLet Aka McDivaNator is the biggest Diva I've ever met and the biggest butt when it comes to what she will eat and not eat when she doesn't want to eat something she will just go for days without it and I mean eating entirely if she wants something bad enough she will go by the longest I've seen her go without food is 5 days until I wet the dry food down and make it look like I am looking out every dog food pan which usually is really a corn can but you know whatever got to do what you got to do to make the dog think you're doing what she thinks is what's supposed to happen the dog is smarter than I am regardless of anything and she reminds me of that on a daily basis however, she really enjoys his food and isn't picky about eating it which is a shock and I'm very grateful for that although it is making her waistline a slightly bit bigger but don't tell her that I said that because since you might poop in my slippers. And yes she has them so before on other occasions. What I do for my fur babies!!
I have a Retriever Husky mix who usually eats Purina One chicken & brown rice (dry version). I wanted to add some variety to his diet, so I bought this and been giving it to him for dinner every other day. He loves it, and a single can does the job for him (he's around 75 pounds). After a couple months, I can tell that his coat has improved - it's more thick & shiny. I'd definitely recommend this product. However, be careful when you first introduce it into your pup's diet. Mine has a sensitive stomach, and I made the mistake of giving him a whole can the first time... which gave him some diarrhea. My advice: start 50% old food 50% new food and progressively increase the amount as your pup gets use to it.
My dog is so darn picky that no matter what I feed her she’s going to stick her nose up at it. In the beginning, she took her nose up at it and then began to eat it. She is now sticking her nose up at it again so I don’t know what’s going on with her. I think it is a good product for her and that’s why I bought it.
I have 3 dogs and 2 are allergic to chicken and corn. This is a great option if you have a picky or senior dog that requires some wet food. I add to my furkids purina one plus salmon recipe dry dog food to keep them eating good. ( one is almost 10, the other is almost 11). They eat it up and between wet and dry foods don't itch and have beautiful healthy skin and coats. Thank you purina one for another great product. Now if you can keep stuff in stock that would be great.
I have my little ones on this food however it does contain poultry/chicken in the ingredients which I cannot feed my allergic dog. So he on a different diet but overall a great food for dogs without chicken allergies.
My dog loves this food it's the best for the price of being cheap I add this as a topper to my dog's acana dog kibble so the wet food cans last about a week and a half
I was looking for something chicken free. This still had chicken as one of the main ingredient. Ok otherwise.
I recently rescued an 8-year old Husky with skin allergies and very picky eating habits. Four foods later, I've finally settled on this one, along with the same dry food. She loves this and will eat it every time I put it down, and she doesn't scratch and bite at her skin any more! It's the best high protein canned food that I've found!
My rescue dog sometimes gets tired of same old, same old. He is really enjoying the Purina One tender cuts in gravy. He's happy, so I'm happy.
I have a very picky eater. I put a tablespoon on top of dry kibble and he’ll eat the whole thing-most times
