The vast majority of ingredients used in Purina products made in the U.S. are sourced here in the U.S. Like other food companies, they do source a limited amount of ingredients from other countries. These ingredients are primarily essential nutrients, such as taurine and B vitamins that are not commonly available in the U.S. in the quantities needed and are sourced in China.

I like how their food is based on science and complete. I don’t like that they put chicken in the flavors that don’t mention chicken in the title. In fact pretty much ALL their flavors have some chicken in it making it bad for any dog who has chicken allergies (and there are plenty of them, including mine) so they (Purina) force me to buy their expensive dog food that doesn’t have chicken in it.

Our pups love it!

I love Chewey. The selection is great, the prices are good, and it's very convenient. But almost every order with the can dog food has an issue, primarily that

I love Chewey. The selection is great, the prices are good, and it's very convenient. But almost every order with the can dog food has an issue, primarily that the cans become dented during shipping. Sometimes the cases of can dog have a cardboard tray placed over the case of dog food and that usually minimizes or even protects the cans from being dented. Fortunately, Chewey's customer service is excellent. The Chewey representative always listens to my concerns and offers to replace the damaged cans. I appreciate that Chewey has such great customer service and will replace damaged products. I would rather have the cases of can dog food arrive without dents and not have to bother Chewey.

Cans came dented

Cans were dented and after using some noticed remaining ones were opened from damage and spoiled. Dogs got sick on other cans and won’t eat the good cans any more
