Remember to measure your pet for the paw-fect fit. Each purchase comes with the Frisco Heavy Duty Fold & Carry Double Door Collapsible Wire Dog Crate and the Black Frisco Wire Dog Exercise Pen with Step-Through Door. Paw-fect for training or keeping him safely contained while you’re away, this crate is larger with thicker and heavier wiring than standard Frisco crates for added security. Each panel is constructed with rounded corners for your pet's safety. The two large doors—one at the front and one on the side—give you more placement options in the home, and they make exit and entry a breeze in the car. Pen is constructed using sturdy metal wire coated in durable black e-coating that’s made to last. The easy-access doorway securely latches closed with double locks and an additional safety clip.

Saving the crate for later as my puppy is still small enough for a travel crate but the pen is indispensable. Very easy to set up and can be used to block off a large area or circled to create the perfect play space for my 8 week old puppy. I use it with a waterproof pad and have only had one accident the first day. He now considers it his personal space. Very easy to keep an eye on him and still allow him independence and fun with his toys.
I just bought this setup for my Puggat (Riker), and it is great. It is made of quality materials, it's sturdy and easy to assemble. There are so many different combinations you can shape the pen into, and you can hook it to the kennel if you want making the pups area that much bigger.
Very easy to put together. Both the crate and the exercise pen are perfect to train my puppy
These are great! So easy to assemble. Just need to get more panels now for the Kennel smaller than I thought it would be for my pup!
Easy to assemble and move. Will work until puppy is housetrained.
This appears to be an example of "You get what you pay for." I foster for a shelter. Two dogs have gotten out of this crate, while it was still locked. One of them was a massive German Shepherd. Both were able to bend the bottom enough to squeeze out of it. The second day, I reinforced it with zip ties and the Shepherd simply took the side off the crate and broke the hooks. He did not chew them apart, he was strong enough to just muscle through the door and break them. It works fine for kittens or dogs who are comfortable in a crate but it will not confine an animal that doesn't want to stay in it.
With two puppies crates are a must. And the Exercise Pens are so useful for so many things.
The crate is a perfectly cromulent dog crate. Nothing special, but it does what it is supposed to. Mine was a real hassle to setup though. First, the instructions were INSIDE the crate where I couldn't access them until I had already completed most of the steps. Fortunately, I was able to find a video on YouTube. It would have been fairly easy to set up, except something inside the crate was hooked to something else that it wasn't supposed to be and it took a lot of effort to get it unhooked. The pen was easy to setup. It is a good height for large dogs, though I think a full-grown dog could probably knock it over. It contains my 5-month-old lab puppy well enough. I would not leave a dog in this pen unsupervised. There are too many gaps where toes could get pinched plus the risk of the whole thing getting knocked over. It works for what I wanted it for, which was a place to keep my puppy from roaming and getting into trouble while I am working or doing other things where I can keep an eye on her. I purchased a second pen and hooked it to this one to make a large play area. One pen by itself isn't much space.
This looked like the perfect solution to create a play area in my office for my new puppy. I needed a place to put him when I was showering, cleaning, etc. It worked for 2 weeks until he figured out he could use the cross bars to climb up and then jump out. I've since researched and found this is a common problem for people with these kinds of pens and people do all kinds of crazy things (e.g., try to add a roof, zip tie mats around the top of the pen) to keep their dog in. I decided to just buy a more expensive play pen made for human children that only has vertical bars so my guy can't climb the wall. Working much better so far. I'd recommend just spend the money and get one without horizontal bars. I'm not sure why they sell this as a dog pen.
I bought one of these from a different brand and it was flimsy, hard to open the doors, and didn't line up the way I needed it to. This one is the complete opposite. The door opens and closes like a dream, the bottom doesn't slide on my concrete floors, and it came with four snap clips so I could attach it to the crate to give my puppy a den and keep her contained so I don't have to worry about her getting into trouble when I'm not there to constantly monitor her.
