Frisco Marble Design Non-skid Ceramic Dog & Cat Bowl, Small: 2 cup, 1 count

I needed a water dish that our foster kittens could not tip over or move everywhere easily and this was it. Although they are determined enough that they can move this several inches once in a while, they are not able to tip it over and that was far more important.

They are heavy bowls, I have a 1 yr. Old male orange tabby, and he can push it around the floor, BUT he can’t tip it over. He is a strong cat. The water stays cooler in this bowl.

We got it in Medium for our girl (Md/Lg, 45lb husky-mutt). Her current water bowl is a deep 5 cup glass food storage container. We were hoping to upgrade her to a proper dish set with a bit more class. This looks much more stylish than typical dishes and I liked it's features. The non-skid ring on the bottom is extra grippy. It washes up like a breeze. The Medium is 5 cups as advertised. Although it can hold 5 cups it would be filled to the brim. See pics. However it also purports to be 3" deep. That is actually the outside dimension. The inside of the dish is closer to 2.37. See pics. In my opinion it's not quite deep enough for our girl to lap water. But it's just fine for kibble and holds more than enough for one meal (she gets 1 generous cup/meal). See pics. I'm glad I bought one dish at a time. This dish in Medium would probably be just right for a Medium or smaller dog for food or water. And I would recommend it. Good price, quality and appearance. We just started using it so the durability is to be determined. But I am happy with my purchase and I'm looking for this dish in a Large to use for her water dish.
