The bottom tray is about 6 inches in the front and gets higher in the back and is about 11 inches.

Does the top part interlock with the bottom or does it just sit on top?

The litter box hood is designed to secure onto bottom pan. It is removable.

We have a good size cat and this is perfect for her. She was kicking up her litter as normal cats do but it was spreading cat litter dust particles everywhere. This

We have a good size cat and this is perfect for her. She was kicking up her litter as normal cats do but it was spreading cat litter dust particles everywhere. This contains them and she actually enjoys the privacy as well. We do have a litter mat in front of this to collect the residual kitty litter on her paws. The combination is very effective. And, we have kitty litter liners that works well with this and it's easy to clean. I highly recommend this product.

Went back two days later to order the other two we need and they were already “out of stock”. Good grief Chewy! Since this is obviously a very popular item and it’s imported from Belgium, has it occurred to your purchasing department that they are not ordering enough of this product?

It’s fine

I had to rip the flap door off of it because it didn’t work and the plastic holds smell more than other litter boxes. It is huge though and that’s a plus.

When I first got it, the clips holding the lid on were a bit tight for my 78 year old arthritic hands. They have since loosened up. However, I do believe the cat

When I first got it, the clips holding the lid on were a bit tight for my 78 year old arthritic hands. They have since loosened up. However, I do believe the cat box was designed by someone who doesn't have a cat. The corners are round and the scoop is square. It takes a bit to get clumps out of the corners. A bit more squarish design for the corners would have worked much better.
