Is this bowl made out of glazed ceramic? I have no idea what "melamine" is. Is it plastic?

Works great!

My 13 pound chihuahua mix rarely chews her kibble so I have been having to hand feed her so she doesn't Hoover it up and then up-chuck her food. This bowl works

My 13 pound chihuahua mix rarely chews her kibble so I have been having to hand feed her so she doesn't Hoover it up and then up-chuck her food. This bowl works great for her. It slowed down her eating and I actually heard her crunch a few kibble bits along the way. This bowl is nice and smooth, there are no rough edges like some of the others I've tried. I am thrilled with my purchase and highly recommend giving this bowl a try.

Works great!

Audrey eats 1/4 cup for meals. I was worried this wouldn’t work for her, but it works great! She’s a fast eater & barely chews food, but this bowl slows her down

Audrey eats 1/4 cup for meals. I was worried this wouldn’t work for her, but it works great! She’s a fast eater & barely chews food, but this bowl slows her down. She actually eats one kibble at a time and crunches it! Very happy with this bowl’s design. Tried other slowing mats and they hardly slowed her down at all. But this one works and is top rack dishwasher safe.

Good for 10 pound dog

If your dog eats about a half cup of food exactly this bowl is for you! It’s hard to find a small bowl that’s a slow feeder. Make sure it’s not more than 1/2 cup

Slows his eating a little

Even with this bowl he still eats too fast. I feed smaller portions for a couple of times so he won't eat too much too fast

Great Slow Feeder

One of my cats ate too fast in the AM to keep her brother away from her food. She would occasionally throw up but the slow feeder, so far, has eliminated that.
