About This Item
- This retractable leash offers freedom and control by automatically adjusting as your dog walks-lengthening and shortening as needed.
- Lock in your desired leash length without ever having to slow down, and avoid accidents with the retractable system that prevents tie-ups.
- One-handed braking lets you stop quickly by just pushing the lock button, while reflective threading increases visibility when it's dark-so you can walk with confidence in any environment.
- Ergonomically designed handle and soft grip material reduce hand strain even on long walks, and the smooth braking system prevents the leash from jerking while stopping.
- Available in different sizes to suit your needs, and in an assortment of colors for maximum style versatility; matching harnesses and collars are also available for the whole look.

Broke during first use
My husband reported that this leash broke during the first two minutes of its use. Granted, there was improper use and we've discussed the proper use of this type of leash with our daughter, but it still doesn't make sense that it would break so quickly. The dog apparently chewed on it after the kiddo tied her up with it, then bolted when a new person came into view, which is when it snapped. It's the proper size for our small Husky. I'd just expect a dog leash to withstand more than 1 quick chewing and a bolt. We'll try either the large size or a different brand.
Love this leash!!
We've only ever used this leash with our dog-our first one lasted 2 years, and only just starting fraying, so we ordered our second recently! It gets a little stuck every so often but for the most part it works excellently.
Not so safe :(
Sadly this is one of those retracible leashes that causes injuries. It's snapped my puppy in the face a few times and retracts so fast that it's hurt me too. I would suggest spending a little more money and getting one of the other brands.
I bought this retractable leash for my big dog. He's 65 pounds, but I opted for the "large" one since he's so strong! The leash is made well and very sturdy. Easy to hold on to as it has this rubber coating on the handle. I was unsure at first, but I really like it. And my dog likes being able to roam farther ahead of me =)
Highly Recommend Fisco Retractable Dog Leash
The Frisco Reflective Retractable Dog Leash is perfect: light, easy to handle, just the right length, safe in the dark and durable (especially when my dog takes off and drags the whole leash)
Disappointed with first one
Used this leash for 2 weeks and the button that locks the leash broke. (I have 2 other types of retractable leashes for 9 years now which are still fine). I contacted Chewy’s customer service, and they sent me a new one within 2 days! Hopefully the first one was just defective and this one will be fine. The customer service was excellent!!
FRISCO Nylon Tape Reflective Retractable Dog Leash
We do NOT recommend the Frisco Nylon Tape Reflective Retractable Dog Leash because it doesn’t work correctly. The nylon tape gets tangled and the stop is difficult to use. Very disappointed.
Sadly, not the best
The tape seemed substantial, but it twists and jams, which is a problem with my blind dog. In fact, though the tape seems solid, it actually has become "ruffled"--one edge has stretched. I'm going to return it and get another Flexi.
I love it. My little pug loves his freedom. He's always had one but it broke. I had use a normal leash on walks not a happy camper. Love this new one. Sturdy nice hand grip and light weight.
Does the job
Lock system that controls length of leash is one of the better ones I've used and my wife has no trouble operating it with arthritic hands. Recovery spring is a little weaker than I'd like and if it was a little stronger I would have rated this with 5 stars.
