Positives: Beautiful, stunning really. Soft fabric. Negatives: Fabric holds every last bit of shed fur covering it quickly (within a few days). Major negative with trigger warning mentioning blood. The studs on the collar are apparently sharp enough to cut. We put this collar on a new kitty. Beau Koa is about 10 months old, from outside, never worn a collar before. He accepted the collar well enough, but like his brothers who have also joined us. The collars all were sized to the appropriate two finger in between measure, but that seems to be just enough for them to get their little mouths around it. Beau must have turned the collar to the studs facing his mouth. In his chewing at this strange, new thing he scrapped up his gums and ended up with blood smudged on his face and covering his magnificently white front paws. It was alarming to see blood all over his feet and not knowing where it came from. It was even more alarming to realize the collar was the cause. If you have a new kitty, do not, repeat - do NOT get this collar for them. Leave this beautiful item for your kitty for later in their years and experience with neck items. And do keep in mind that it will collect fur worse than your black slacks seem to do.
These are so cute. So far the only complaint I have is the end and edges seems to be wearing and looks a little rough but other than that they are very good collars. The rhinestones are attached very well and the color is holding up nicely. I would definitely recommend this collar especially if you are not crazy about the breakaway collars. I have already ordered 3 black ones and I will more and likely order 3 purple ones. I have 3 very spoiled ladies that were once feral.
I never thought I'd be one of those people who spends a little extra money on their cat's collar, but boy was I wrong. This purple velvet collar with a bow is not only adorable, but it's also made with high quality materials. The bow is securely attached and hasn't come off despite my cat's playful antics. The collar itself fits comfortably on my feline friend and hasn't caused any irritation. The only downside is that it's a bit pricier than some other collars on the market, but in my opinion, it's worth it for the durability and cuteness factor. Plus, it's a nice way to add a little flair to your cat's everyday look. All in all, I'm pleasantly surprised by how much I've enjoyed using this product.
This collar is super cute and trendy! It's made of pretty purple velvet-like material and has adorable crystal jewels on it. A cute little silver bell lets you know where the kitty is and adds to the charm. It has a little elastic that connects the buckle to the collar that has some give to it and allows it to stretch for safety in case kitty gets caught on something. It looks just precious on my long-haired tuxie Emma!
Omg this elegant purple collar is soft fuzzy velvet with several simple stone studs. Looks stunning on my cat. Seems to be good quality. Stitching and clasp are nice and look durable. I would definitely recommend this collar
Our boys seem to be going through their collars, so we were looking for something more durable and I believe we have found our answer. Our more Rambunctious and active boy has had his collar on for about 2 months now and it has not broken off, frayed anywhere, or even lost a stone. His collar looks as new as the day we put it on him.
I love it and would buy it in different colors I like the bell cause I know where he is at all times
The Frisco Punk Velvet Cat Collar With Bow in Purple is such a fun collar for my cat. She doesn’t usually wear collars, but this velvet collar with rhinestones from Frisco is just so cute, we can’t resist. The purple looks great on my ginger cat. The row of metal rhinestones is fun, and the safety bell is good for her to wear to alert critters she may want to pounce on. It seems comfortable for her to wear - she hasn’t tried to shake it off. I’d say she seems to act a bit more regal with it on!
we got this for our cat to have a collar and the first day we put it on him the bell had came off and is nowhere to be found, did not think to much about it and figured what ever at least he still has a collar, very next day woke up to him not having the collar on and found it unhooked just as if someone took it off him, put it back on him and 2 or 3 days later came unhooked again and came off so have not put it back on him, seems like it was not checked for quality before it left the factory or something as it is not good at all.
My very large cat (Powder) usually will tear off any collar that is put on him, he loves this one. He was not happy about having his purple Frisco collar put on, but seems to be very happy with it & wears it proudly! I was worried that it wouldn't be large enough for my Maine Coon but it fits him perfectly & the little bell that announces him entering the room seems to also make him quite happy!
