This is a breakaway collar so you should be able to pull on the collar and it should open.

Nice fit for my 6month old kitten. Love that it is a breakaway! Clip seems to be sorta cheaply made but should be ok with my indoor girly. Pattern is super cute

I had to break the collar off of her with a lot of force. I feel like the collar required too much force for it to get her out of a situation safely.

Melted from contact with topical flea meds, but durable!

I love everything about this collar except for the fact that it melted when coming into contact with liquid topical flea meds, and no other collar I’ve had kitty in has done that. If it didn’t do that, I’d give it 5 stars! It’s durable, cute, somehow very resistant to damage from scratching. My kitty had this collar on for weeks, and usually I have to trim it down by then but this one is barely fluffed after all that time!
