Is this able to be used without the tray separating the levels?

When assembling the two-story cage, the tray separating the levels should not be removed. The tray is made with an opening to travel between each story. The top level cannot be closed off from the bottom.

Very disappointed

Was very excited to receive this cage for my ferrets as I am putting it together the bars are extremely bent the plastic foundation inside the cage was all cracked

My boyfriend and I bought this cage for 4 rats that we adopted. It’s definitely big enough for them 4; 2 baby standard rats and 2 baby micro dwarves. Currently our rats are 2 1/2 weeks old. It is probably big enough to house adult rats. Some of the bedding does get on the sides of the trays but that’s really no big deal. The bars on the cage are horizontal, which is nice. As well, they’re 0.5 inches wide, small enough for our rats not to get through. The cage is easy to clean also, especially with the large doors that open to create a good amount of space to access the cage. Would recommend to anyone getting rats or small animals. Our rats can also climb on the cage and they have a good time doing so. The wheels on the bottom of the cage are also very nice. They can lock in place once you have a secured area for your pet(s) to stay at. Very happy with our purchase. 5/5 stars!

Parts were bent when I opened the box

Part of the cage was bent and damaged when I opened the box. I had to try to bend it back so the doors could close. Very disappointed in the quality especially

Spacious

It has plenty of room they run in it the shelves are a little uneven but sturdy enough for them to still use them and it's easier to clean and I don't have to keep

Great design

We have two of these now and it really is superior to the Critter Nation cages. They look great and the guards really help keep the litter in.

Terrible

Save your money. I got the original cage and it was damaged. Chewy sent me a second one as a replacement. It was also damaged and it was missing the correct parts

Save your money. I got the original cage and it was damaged. Chewy sent me a second one as a replacement. It was also damaged and it was missing the correct parts. Both cages had to be constructed to see what was damaged and what was missing. When the second one came damaged and was missing parts I contacted chewy they basically told me I would have to deconstruct the first one and shove it back into the box how that’s even possible. I don’t know for me to get a refund for my product. However, that was nearly impossible as it was bent and warped, and it was a miracle. I even got it together in the first place. So they would not refund me, and I cut my losses and donated both of the cages to a local nonprofit. Not happy.

Very Spacious!

I love this cage so much! I got the two story and use it for my two rats. It’s way larger in person than i was expecting, but they have lots of room to run around

I love this cage so much! I got the two story and use it for my two rats. It’s way larger in person than i was expecting, but they have lots of room to run around and play. It took me less than 30 mins to build and was very easy and clear instructions. Very sturdy cage with no way for them to escape. Definitely recommend for any small animal pets you have!

This enclosure is simple to put together. The shelves sit level and flat. In my opinion this is much better quality than the Critter Nation I used to have. My African Soft Fur Rat had babies and this is perfect for everyone, we have girls upstairs and the boys downstairs. The bar spacing even keeps the babies in so no issues there. Ideal for anyone with small critters.
