Unfortunately, I received a defective carrier. The part where you're supposed to insert the support poles was sewn shut, together with the velcro strap. Since there

Unfortunately, I received a defective carrier. The part where you're supposed to insert the support poles was sewn shut, together with the velcro strap. Since there is no way to prevent the carrier from collapsing without being able to insert those poles, I have asked Chewy for a refund. It's a shame that this is now going to the landfill.

Quality of the build matches the price point so am satisfied. There are some rods that must be installed inside after delivery to help the item stay rigid. They don’t stay in place terribly well, but found that they weren’t totally needed because we have a calm dog. Again satisfied, but we only needed it one time to fly a puppy who will soon grow out of it.

Carrier was ok. Beautiful looking very aesthetic but the metal rods inside stuck out and cat could poke itself accidentally. Inside bedding was flat, not soft. Easy

Poorly designed and cheaply made

The nylon rods used to add rigidity to the roof were about 1.5 inches too long to fit in the carrier. I had to cut them down with a hacksaw to be able to close/zip

The nylon rods used to add rigidity to the roof were about 1.5 inches too long to fit in the carrier. I had to cut them down with a hacksaw to be able to close/zip the door. I have these carriers for emergencies since they take up less space than hard carriers and I live in an area where evacuations due to natural disasters are a concern. I would never choose to use them for non-emergencies though.

Quality cat carrier

I was looking for a well-made cat carrier that was also easy on the eyes and had a bit of room! (There are so many hideous ones out there lol) This one ticked all the boxes - I love the structure, shape, and room in the interior. The small details are also amazing - washable soft flooring, pockets on the side, high quality mesh windows and a three side entry. My kitty cried a little bit and then was super cuddly on the way home in the carrier. I leave it open in the living room now and he always visits it to sleep or chill, so it doubles as a cat bed! I wish they made more colors for if you have multiple cats, but I highly recommend Vetreska's cat carrier which is very similar but even higher quality!
