The cats jumped into it and used as a bed before I got it to the car for the dog. the large is not very large, inside open space is 13x18, not touching the sides

The cats jumped into it and used as a bed before I got it to the car for the dog. the large is not very large, inside open space is 13x18, not touching the sides for this. nicely made, cushy bottom and sides but high and sturdy enough to keep them from sliding off the seat when stopping fast. Good initially but starts to come apart after moderate use

Worked great initially but then both sides started to cave inward as velcro failed and the cushion bowed down in middle due to seat belt running under cushion creating

Worked great initially but then both sides started to cave inward as velcro failed and the cushion bowed down in middle due to seat belt running under cushion creating unsupported sections of the cushion so it became very hard for our 17 pound dog to sit upright or be able to sit at the edge to look out window. Having to replace. Needs different seatbelt routing design and sturdier sides to last longer.

I wanted to love it for my dachshund. I got the large because she's long. And even though my SUV's back seat has very roomy dimensions (4-door Mercedes GLE), this

I wanted to love it for my dachshund. I got the large because she's long. And even though my SUV's back seat has very roomy dimensions (4-door Mercedes GLE), this would really only fit comfortably in a captain's chair type seat. Once I thread the seat belt through, it makes the bottom cushion pop up, and the Velcro side panels bend from the seat belt and from the dog leaning on the side.

Doesn't work for my girl

The tether to attach to Remi's harness gets tangled around her legs cutting off circulation. Because of that, she is then unable to lie down. It also does not

It also does not fit well in either the front or back seats of my Sentra. I will be donating it to our local shelter store. Maybe it will work for someone else. I will continue to search for the perfect seat for Remi.

We purchased this bucket seat for a long trip to ensure our dog was safe. Our 24lb dog slept quite well in the booster seat. It was a 14 hour ride and he did really well in it and we were comfortable that he was super safe. It is a little small for a 24lb dog, so if your dog likes to spread out you should opt for a different seat.

Good size for our Pug, doesn’t have mesh for her to chew through

I wish I had read the reviews before buying as modern cars all use shoulder seatbelts which do not work well with this product. I looked all over for a helpful response or tips from Chewy, but they don’t seem to exist. If our car was from the 70s with lap belts it would work perfectly! We are making it work and our dog likes it!

I wanted to love this! The size, structure, and pockets seemed great. The biggest problem is the design for securing with a seatbelt. If your seat has a regular seatbelt and not just a lap belt, it is a chore to install as the seatbelt has to be stretched all the way out then threaded through a hole barely big enough for a small adult hand/arm to shove all the way through and buckle. After all that, the seat doesn't really sit flush against the car seat. The cord for the harness latch is pretty thin but does ok to keep the dog somewhat in the seat when secured. The removable side panels buckle under the weight of our 15lb dachshund pup if he tries to stand up and look out the window. One corner of the seat had a hole before the first use. I like the pockets and that the base cushion is removable and its cover is washable. Washed once with success. Overall I would not recommend this, especially for the price.
