The carrier is as pictured. It comes disassembled and the pieces didn’t quite line up at first but I was able to get them to fit after tightening the bolts that were provided. I got the smaller one for my 15 week old kitten to take him to his upcoming neutering appointment. I feel like he may grow out of this pretty quickly. My 16yr old maine coon mix will definitely not fit. I may donate it to my local rescue if he out grows it. Great carrier for the price!

Very Sturdy Carrier

I bought these for my 4 cats weighing between 9 and 13 lbs. it was perfect for their size. It was very sturdy once you screw in the 4 bolts. Definitely worth

I bought these for my 4 cats weighing between 9 and 13 lbs. it was perfect for their size. It was very sturdy once you screw in the 4 bolts. Definitely worth the price. There are many pricey carriers out there. This one was perfect. I used the handle to carry each cat into the vet. It never felt flimsy. Just remember- you can’t rely on just the plastic latches. You need to screw in the bolts too. I would definitely recommend if you’re tired of being ripped off with high priced carriers. Also the fact that the top opens was a plus. Much easier to get my cats in/out.

Wow what a disappointment. It was on sale but it was not what I would consider a crappy cheap carrier, which I would never buy. It was a good sale so.....what a mistake. A similar carrier that I got from TJ Maxx was the same price & size and is a fantastic carrier. So, I assumed.....big mistake. I wouldn't put my garbage in here for fear it would fall apart. I have other Frisco products so this was a big disappointment.

I read all the reviews. Most of them are really good and a couple said that this cat carrier was flimsy. I begged to differ once you gotit put together. It’s very sturdy. The front door is easy to open up and the top opening is extremely easy to open, which is very important to me. I would highly recommend this product. And of course, due to chewy. I got both the pet carriers in two days. Fabulous service.

I was looking for a top load carrier that also had a side load to offer more visibility for my little guy when in the car. He is only 6 months old but the openings, both side and top, are entirely too small. He scraped his legs going in the top. Probably more suited for a rabbit or guinea pig.

Unsafe as a pet carrier

This carrier is not a safe way to transport animals. The plastic is so thin and flexible that the front door popped out while I was carrying an 10-lb cat across

This carrier is not a safe way to transport animals. The plastic is so thin and flexible that the front door popped out while I was carrying an 10-lb cat across a parking lot. Luckily the vet staff saw me struggling to contain the cat and rushed to help before she escaped. With all the latches secured, the screws in place, and the door properly locked in place, the sides deform with minimal inward compression (or the downward weight of a cat) and the pins of the front door comes out of the channels on all sides. I chose it because the top door hinges to 180-degrees for ease of loading a spicy cat, but it's absolutely useless for transporting the cat. One star because you can't submit a review without it.
