Keep your pal (or pals) safely confined with the Frisco Ultimate Foldable & Stackable Heavy Duty Steel Metal Dog Crate. Built for dogs who are prone to escaping from wire or plastic crates, this premium steel crate is made with 22-gauge steel with ½ inch diameter steel tubing—which means it can stand up to some pretty strong pups. It’s designed to fold for storage, and you can stack two of these crates with the included hardware to create a dual-level, space-saving crate for multiple pets to enjoy. Made with durability and ease of use in mind, it has wheels with foot brakes so you can move it around your home to that perfect spot before your dog gets in, and then lock it safely in place. Forged from high-grade, powder-coated steel and strengthened with welding at stress points, it resists scratches, dents and even rusting, so it’s a go-to crate option for daily use and for most breeds. Now keeping your pal inside is easy and effortless so he can stay out of trouble, and you can enjoy some peace of mind. It also features a grated floor, so food and messes fall through, and a removable, slide-out tray that makes cleanup quick and easy. Plus, the hammer-tone finish looks great with any home décor.

This product does what it says. It was so easy to assemble. I love the fact that it rolls so I can take my pup on the go and she will still be safe.
My recently-adopted shelter dog proved to have separation anxiety. It was impossible to always have her with me and since her SA resulted in destruction (window blinds) and a dangerous situation of a destroyed wire crate I ordered this. Since she's a small-ish beagle/hound mix this provides lots of room for her. She has not been able to damage it in any way and when she's not using it the other dogs like it for nap time. She also takes anti-anxiety meds if I have to leave her and between those and this crate I am comfortable knowing she is safe. As others noted, it did not come with a metal tray for the bottom but rather a plastic one. Luckily she has not yet destroyed it.
Really love this crate for my anxious dog. He is a big chewer so I wanted a crate that he wouldn’t stand a chance against. So far so good! I also love the high quality wheels and the high quality design. Overall love it!
My biggest gripe are the screw holes and frame. The bottom frame is bent out of the box. It isn't bad enough to go through the hassle of a return though. The holes for the screws are not aligned correctly and strip some of the threading on the screw. The instructions recommend against using a drill but that was my only option with the crate in its condition. One hole still had metal in it that was blocking the screw and I had to drill that out. Otherwise, the crate is as advertised.
The only reason I did not give this a five star rating is that for practical purposes it is not a foldable crate. It requires removing several screws. Otherwise, it is very sturdy and spacious. My dog does much better in this crate than the less expensive, but flimsy, portable crates. The coating on the smaller bars does not seem very durable as I already see flaking. Caution to those assembling you do need two people as we had some screw misalignment issues that required pushing and pulling to align while the other person inserted the screw.
Im so disappointed I waited weeks for the cage I ordered. for them to cancel it never ordering here again.
The crate was amazing until I unpacked the tray. I ordered the XL crate that was suppose to have a metal tray. It did not. A cheap plastic tray was in it. I contacted chewy and they cannot send me just the tray, but they are sending me a box, sent me a label, and they are doing all the foot work to get me a refund. Chewy’s customer service is 5 star….if you want a plastic tray, this is a 5 star product. I was generous with 3 stars because the quality of the metal framing was great. I’m so disappointed, but Chewy is making it right.
I have a 2-year-old female German Shepherd. She currently weighs approximately 80 pounds and still has some growing to do. I spend hours searching for a cost-effective crate that would accommodate her size. I wanted something roomy that didn't cost a small fortune, something Houdini would struggle with, and couldn't be destroyed by my anxious troublemaker. I read review after review and article after article telling me what the best and worst crate were. Finally, I lucked upon this crate, on sale. After purchasing a Large I was really concerned about size, but it was a perfect fit. The best thing is the additional height of the crate. She can stand with her ears barely touching the top. She loves that she can see everything going on around her. I purchased a thin bed to put in the bottom and I so very happy with this crate.
I bought 2 of these cages and they both had parts that did not properly fit together. One was the sides of the cage did not have holes that aligned for the screws and the other one had an issue with one of the wheels at the bottom. It would not screw in. The one cage I put together my dog likes and it is pretty sturdy.
My pit bull managed to bend the 22-gauge steel the first time she was left in the crate for an hour. She is crate trained and sleeps in her crate at night. The description states that the slide-out tray is metal for the side medium crate. But the tray I received is plastic.
