Best dog pen for small dogs

I have two chihuahua and West mixes that are 7 years old and under 15 pounds. Their last pen was 7 years old, required a lil hop to get in and out, the door was difficult to latch, could be pushed around, and recently one learned he could jump out. This looks so nice in my living room, the door is easy to open and close, they can not push it around, Spunky can get in and out easily, and Foxy can not jump out. It is currently set up as a stand alone pen, but I plan to mount to a wall making it permanent and giving them more room.

Great playpen

#chewyteamrated This gate is fantastic, as it doubles as a spacious playpen. Perfect for supervised playtime with Giant Flemish rabbits and other larger small mammals. Easy to operate and adjust as well. Another plus is the built in walk through gate.

Absolutely Incredible

#ChewyTeamRated Wow! I was so surprised when I received this gate. The quality is so much better than expected. Fit my needs to block off rooms in the house, and to my surprise- made an excellent sized pen in the backyard. I am really pleased with this product! Frisco has done it again!

Great gate and playpen

I absolutely love this Frisco Wood & Metal 8-Panel Configurable Gate & Playpen. It's very versatile and easy to configure and move. I have 4 dogs and this is soo easy put wherever I want to keep them out of one room or another or to keep away from something. I had one dog that had gotten injured and I kept her separated from the others while she was mending and to keep in a small area to keep an eye on. This playpen with gate made it so easy to use and get in and out of and I highly recommend this product to others

So Many Helpful Configurations!

We lost our beloved dog and now are finally planning to adopt a puppy. We just moved to a new house that has lots of nooks and crannies for a rambunctious puppy to find trouble. Our floors are tile, so we thought a playpen configuration during the day while we are here would work in our large entry way with a soft bed until we can get her potty and obedience trained. Then as she grows we can change the configuration of this 8 panel pen to an operating gate with a latch door to direct her travels. The surfaces of this playpen are so smooth and so stylish with the white wood and metal combination. You just wipe it down with a mild detergent to clean it. The instructions are clear and the installation was easy. It balanced and formed a nice seal on our tile floor. The locking/latching mechanism is secure. The instructions say not to use as a pool barrier or at the top of stairs. It is perfect for our use on our first floor. We often sit for our daughter's dog and we have used this with her until she got used to our house as she would go scouting and have accidents. It is tall and sturdy and I'm sure it will last a long time because of the quality and the creative design. Now we just need to get the puppy!

Very Helpful

I have three large dogs that we usually keep in our garage/ office. We wanted something to fit across our garage door when we decide to have it open. This fits gets and keeps the dogs inside. It was easy to set up and take down when we want to close the garage door. We also use it as a pin for the kiddos rabbit when cleaning Thumper's cage.

We have been using the Frisco Wood & Metal 8-Panel Configurable Gate & Playpen, Farmhouse White for just over a month. We are so thrilled to have a configurable gate that has the durability and style that Frisco offers. This gate is very durable but light at the same time. Easy to install!

I got this gate because my dog sheds so bad so I need to put her in certain areas of the house when we leave! The gate was super easy to install, she can’t barrel through it like others so it’s sturdy as well! The gate is easy to use and I like that my toddler can’t open it like she can baby gates! It’s high enough that my dog can’t jump over so an all over win!

Sturdy and does the job

I have a mini schnauzer that i dont let in the kitchen, so having a gate helps a lot. The gate swings both ways which is a nice touch. It’s a little heavy but honestly probably a good thing so it can’t be knocked down as easily. You can mount it to the walls, but I use it freestanding so I can move it around and even put it in the yard as needed.
