In my opinion the size and labeling of product is misleading and deceiving. it states that it is X large with measurement of 28 x 34 in. this size is NOT really an X Large. It's okay for smaller dogs and for cats. The sizes that are available and labeled are misleading and deceiving. 22x23 is small (labeled Large) 28x34 is a medium size (labeled X large) then there is the 27 x 44 (labeled Giant) which in reality is Large. I started purchasing these based on my Great Dane Dalmatian Lab dog when he got old and I needed something for him. I purchased the 28 x 34 only to discover it was NOT large enough. however I had a cat that was also getting up there in age so I used that one for the cat. But STILL the labeling on the packaging NEEDS TO BE RE DONE. Found the 27 x 44 labeled Giant. well that still really didn't cut it. so I taped them together. Even though my Great Dane mix passed away, I do use all the sizes still, and now for Mr. poopy cat in different areas overlapping them accordingly. Overall quality is really good. Have had no issues with these tearing apart when he scratches at it to bury his poop or leaking through. They last quite awhile. I have all 3 sizes all around my house covering every inch, as Mr. Poopy cat tends to find the one spot that is NOT covered (when he has liquid poop accidents) Recently and amazingly he peed on the pad (a lot on the pee pad) he's never pee'd on the pad before since usually he does that outside or in the litter box and this worked out really well, there was no leaking, it soaked up the pee nicely. I was able to pick up the pad without any problems of it rolling off like the ones I used to use years ago with other pets. see picture: you can't really tell but there are 3 different sizes on the couch and the other picture is where I put the so called Large 22x23 at.

One of my older cats is afraid of the energetic male kitten I was fostering and eventually adopted. She is now afraid to use the litter box, but will use the potty pad in a discrete location. It gives her comfort not to have to use the litter box, in fear that her playful brother will bother her.,

Meh

I wish these worked as well as some reviewers claim they work. But they just don’t. We have an older cat who’s decided she doesn’t want to use the litter box anymore and potties right in front of the fridge. Thankfully the kitchen floor is linoleum and fairly easy to clean but there’s always a pee puddle underneath these pads. So we end up spending a lot on paper towels and disinfectant spray now. Couldn’t imagine using these pads on carpet or hardwood floors or even tile floors where the pee would seep into the grout.

These absorb urine very well.

Teddy is a Shi-Chon, 13 pounds, so I was using the smaller pads. Unfortunately, urine near the edges would run off. Even though my floor is LVP, I still don't want to have to mop several times a day. Decided to try these bigger pads and the difference is night and day. They hold a lot of urine with no run off and one lasts a full 24 hours. Because of this they have turned out to be cheaper to use than smaller pads. I will continue to use these.

With this pad the pee does not go on the garage floor as often as with other pads our dog is now 11. She will not go out in the rain big chicken so she will still use the pads in the garage for pee. Not once has one soaked through the pad. she is a 22lb dog about the size of one in picture.

I used to buy Hartz Home Protection pads for my Beagle. She would go one time in the middle and then I would have to throw it away. I tried these once and fell in love with they are thick and she will go 3 and 4 times on one pad and that saves a lot of money.

They aren't for a dog, they're for a cat.

I have a Primo Don three legged kitty named TriPod. He likes to "think outside the box" so i put these down around the litter box so he doesn't pee on the floor
