Half and half

We have four cats. 3 yo brother/sister and 1yo half sisters. My two older cats are good eaters of both wet and dry food. The two younger ones are another story. One is so picky that she hasn't found ANY wet food that she likes. The other youngster isn't as bad but is picky also. We have tried almost every wet food, type, brand etc. We thought this was going to do the trick but we were wrong. The two older cats eat it with no problem but my younger two won't eat it. The picky one will lick the BROTH (its not gravy) but the real picky one will only try to bury it. Again, not gravy but broth. The pate is weird in texture. So we are calling this half and half.

Excellent Product

This cat food is wonderful for my cat, as she loves it! It has gravy, which is her favorite, and lots of wonderful rich chicken. This is just the best food as she loves it, and I am happy when she is happy!

I something wrong?

Ordered this because I bought a few cans in store and my kittys loved the extra gravy. Something is wrong with this batch. My two cats walk up to the food get one sniff and walk away and look at me like they think I’m trying to poison them. I was worried they might be sick but I heated them up a chicken breast and gave them their fav treats and they scarfed it down. I think this is spoiled. I would try and donate it since my cats refused this multiple times now but I don’t think the shelter cats would want it either. Staying away from friskies for now, I bought some cans in store of different flavors and they still want nothing to do with it. I think they need to recall because I see others with similar complaints.

Never Again...

My cats just walk away from this food after sniffing it, and go eat dry food. It doesn't look like the pate that I've been buying for many years. I will not buy this food again.

Make my baby very sick

We’ve been adding in wet food once a day for the last few months and trying new brands. Our senior cat (16 yrs old) has been very sick the last day or so since we fed her this. She has has diarrhea on the floor 3x and puked 4x. I feel like such a bad cat mom. She has never been sick like this. I guess this formula doesn’t agree with her so just a word of warning :( the other cat is fine but didn’t eat much of it because he didn’t like the smell. For reference they have been eating Friskies plain pate with no problems.

Order was fine.

But my cats don't like the chicken with extra gravy. They like the chicken with liver. What do I do with 10 cans of cat food I can't serve? Have to order more of something else for variety.

Friskies Pate chicken cat food

My cats dont take to this item very well, very seldom eating all of what they normally eat. Personally upon opening the can, the product looks like it is rancid. but I'm not the one eating it .

My cats love this food

It's a myth you can't feed your kitties the same food every day and you need to spice it up with something different so they will be interested in eating It's a fact that frequent flavor rotation has been implicated in the development of finicky eating behavior, probably because cats fed in this way learn that if they aren't thrilled with what's in front of them, they can just wait for something better to come along. Someone complained about the smell. The smell is for the cats not the humans. Several people said my cats only lick the gravy. Most cats will go for the gravy first. Try mashing the food and mixing the gravy well into the food.

Something wrong with this batch of Friskies

I have been feeding this to my cats for months without any problems. They love it. I received my three cases of 24 cans and there is something wrong with this batch. It made my cat's sick. They now sniff it and walk away. They won't eat it at all. I looked on the Friskies sight and don't see any recalls, but there is definitely something wrong with the cans I received. They don't look the same either. There are dark colored spots throughout the food and several cans don't have any gravy in them. I am very disappointed and upset about my cats getting sick!!!

Just this flavor

I've tried many flavors of Friskies wet food and although none of my four cats likes "meaty bits" they've liked shreds and pate until I got the chicken in savory gravy...no one likes this flavor. Why, I wonder?
