A good economical food
We feed a colony of 11 feral kitties, and we used to feed Kit & Kaboodle until they stopped selling it. We have been feeding them this Friskies brand for the last 2 years and they are all doing well on it. They keep a good weight on summer and winter, and are healthy. Since feeding so many cats can be costly, this particular brand is economical for us too. PLEASE REMEMBER to work with your local shelter's TNR program for feral cats to get them spayed & neutered.
Great product, questionable service
Twice we, as a nonprofit organization, have ordered up to 30 bags of this food to help our feeders take care of their feral cat colonies. Twice, the order was held up due to lack of confirmation of the authenticity of the order. Chewy already had the credit card information and had already been paid, why the hold up?
Quality food for reasonable price
I had a family of feral cats near my home that looked emaciated. I did not want them to die so I started putting food and water out for them every morning. They now appear to be healthy again. This is due strictly to Purina Friskies cat food.
Scored big with this food!
I feed this to my many cats and they love it. I used to feed them another brand but they always left at least half of it in the bow;, which was unusual because they always finish their food. I browsed for many brands and looked at their nutritional content and decided to give it a go. My cats really enjoy this food and I get them the dry food and combine it with the salmon pate dinner wet food cans. I only had an issue with the first bag where the food seemed off so I called customer service and explained that the food had a weird smell and the food looked like the color was off. My cats wouldn't eat the food, which again, was unusual because they are not picky eaters. This was with the 22-lb bag. The smaller bags never seem to come defective. I was sent another bag by customer service and I definitely noticed the difference in quality. Another thing, the bigger bag seems to take longer to ship and arrive so I would say buy it well in advance if you're getting low on the food and if it looks off, it probably is. Your fur babies will let you know!
Cats love it
We SERVE two kinds of food to our overlords. This one comes at 8 and 6 from the automatic feeder. The cats jump from wherever they are to get in line for this. The littlest is the protector of the dish and will lay her whole body over it to make it so her buddy can’t get any!!
DRY FOOD
EVERYTHING ARRIVED IN ORDER AND UNDAMAGED. The CATS MR. FLUFFY AND PRINCESS , AND WE HAVE A NEW MEMBER SHE IS ONLY 4" LONG WHITE AND HAS BLUE EYES, I NAMED HER ESTELLA(STAR IN ENGLISH) ENJOY EATING AND PLAYING TOGETHER. I FOUND ESTELLA BEHING A ROCK CRYING AND TOOK HER INSIDE, SHE IS A CHARACTER, SHE IS IN CHARGE OF THE GROWN CATS.
Why is this so expensive
Just want to help our cat's including feral community and you are making it impossible with the price increases you are throwing at us. Originally thought you were for our furry friends but not so sure anymore. We have our own cat's and take care of Cat's through the catch, neuter and release and continue to take care of them but the cost for food is beyond ridiculous and still these beautiful cat's rely on us. Do you have a program to help the ferals?
Tough Guys LOVE their Friskies!
Billy and Binky might look like tough guys but they turn into ravenous kittens when I feed them Friskies Seafood Sensations! They LOVE it and beg for more!
Right on time
My order arrived and was in perfect condition. Thank you Chewy, of course I forgot something on my list. So the large 10 pound box of dog bones will have to wait. I do not want to pay delivery fees for just this one thing.
For reasons I dont fully understand but my kitty cannot seem to hold down any dry food at all. Ive tried everything on the market and even this one make him throw up really bad. He throws it up UNDIGESTED, SO i DONT THINK its the product but rather just my cat. ALL of Chewy's foods are top quality, this I know for sure.
