It is likely that Purina pet food contains GMO grains because genetically modified grain and grain products constitute a significant portion of the supply of grain available throughout the U.S. for both human and pet foods. U.S. grain handling and distribution practices result in a co-mingling of supply, which results in a loss of identity preservation. The FDA recognizes the safety and equivalence of products derived from U.S.-approved varieties of genetically modified grain, so there is no reason to exclude it from the general supply. In addition, the FDA does not require products containing GMO grains to bear additional labeling.

Hello, the third ingredient says poultry byproduct meal. Is that strictly chicken or is it a mix of chicken and turkey or what is it?

The delivery address had in the address line that it was to be left at the garage. Yet AGAIN it was left at the front gate of our home, near the street where we have had thefts of the items before. The instructions state clearly that the delivery was to be at the garage, which is around the corner from our front gate! Just a matter of 25 feet! Not only that but the items were put in such a way that getting the gate open was very difficult. What do I have to do? Very disappointed.

My 5 cats are addicted to this dry food. Seafood sensations are their first and only choice. Because I want them to have a balanced diet, I sneak in a very healthy dry food with excellent ingredients they need and also wet food with gravy or cooked chicken. This way, we are all happy. Friskies is not over expensive, which really helps when feeding five cats, and I've been purchasing it for years. It's my go to cat food, both wet and dry.

But, Fedex as their delivery system is not good. As a partially disabled person I need delivery to my front porch and Fedex doesn’t always do that and it seems

Cat moms get worried over nutrition too

My cat is a pain but I love her dearly. Because surprisingly so she’s not the biggest fan of wet food, give her a boiled piece of protein (shrimp, chicken, fish)

My cat is a pain but I love her dearly. Because surprisingly so she’s not the biggest fan of wet food, give her a boiled piece of protein (shrimp, chicken, fish) *some times fried when she digs her nose in my Popeyes (face palm)* and she will eat it. But it’s something about canned/processed wet food she’ll shrug and unfortunately when it comes to dry food- seafood variety is her only language. So I want to give her what she wants without eating basically kibble shaped plastic or whatever. I choose friakies simply because it was seafood flavor and the one brand I could read, pronounce, and understand the ingredient list compared to all the fancy stuff! And if I’ve learned something is that price doesn’t mean quality- the ingredient list is the only true wording on any package and truest qualifier of good quality! I had her on the pro stuff and iams, blue wilderness, even the Rachel ray kibble and it either gave her loose stools or vomiting. I’m seeing myself actually having to refill her bowl instead of throwing away stale left over food! THANK YOU FRISKIES for having a laymen friendly ingredient list!
