Cats love it
I have two cats that are just over a year old a male n female and they both love this kinda wet food.... i mix it in with their dry Iams kitten food once a day... the price is reasonable I will def be buying this again for them... very pleased with my order and shipment was here the next day after i ordered it which was a total surprise! this was my first time ordering from Chewy and this is my go to for now on! I am def a happy customer :^)
Funny about CATS
The joy of the cat when the rip-off seal on the Friskie's can excites hysterical meowing and dancing on the hind legs! But, what is funny, the selection by the Smitty cat on one day (there are 5 Tasty Flavors in each box) becomes his rejection by the second day! Variety is what cats want and Friskies has it. The textures too, shreds and prime filets are much different and for the cat, that means variety! I alternate half cans and keep them guessing.
Spoiled/bad batch!!!!
Usually, these are good quality. We opened the first can and it smelled rotten - even for this kind of food, which never smells exactly good! Food was still wet but it didn't look as moist and gravy coated as it usually does. We put a bit down and both cats, even the chonky orangey cat, who will eat ANYTHING. We opened about five more cans, thinking it might have been one bad can, but all of the cans, regardless of flavor, had the same terrible, spoiled smell and the same weird appearance, like they had either been sitting for a long time in a warehouse AND/OR were sitting in heat for a long time in a warehouse. Of course Chewy offers no options to return it due to it being defective so we are stuck with almost a full case of spoiled cat food.
My 4 cats approve!
I have 3 cats who will eat just about anything and an 18-year-old with thyroid and kidney issues who can be quite picky. She prefers food with gravy to pate (though not always!). She also cannot have beef because it upsets her stomach. Finding something she will consistently eat can be a challenge. So far, so good with this Variety Pack! And, of course, the other 3 love it also.

ALWAYS GLAD TO GET A VARIETY PACK. I TRY TO MATCH UP THE CATS' SUPPER TO WHAT I'M SERVING FOR DINNER. BEFORE FRISKIES MADE EXTRA GRAVY FOODS, I OPENED A CAN WHICH HAD A LOT OF GRAVY IN IT AND MY CATS LOVED IT! I CALLED FRISKIES AND TOLD THEM HOW MUCH THE CATS ENJOYED THE EXTRA GRAVY. THE AGENT SEEMED QUITE INTERESTED IN THIS INFORMATION. 1 1/2 YRS LATER THEY HAVE A LINE OF EXTRA GRAVY FOODS! MARLENE ><>
Great improvement
I have ordered three times Prior for canned cat food. Each team sine cans were dented . I communicated to Chewy where I thought the cause could be as they were double packing. This package Wes in perfect Order and on time. I am a happy customer It is to be noted in the past Chewy was excellent at making good on damaged items.
We just started to feed this to our cats
our cats are quite fussy. They won't eat the same flavor of food more than 2 or 3 days in a row. We often try new flavors and new brands. I'm not sure if they'll like this food. We just started to feed it to them this morning.
Happy fur babies
We have a cat that is 9 lbs Pumpkin and one that is 22 lbs Bobbie Lynn. Since I changed their diet from dry food to wet food they have more energy and Bobbie is losing weight. Thank you Chewy for making my fur babies happy babies.
Chunks too large
Our cat does not like this as much as some of the others she has had. The chunks are too large, not shredded enough. Some cans seemed to not be full and had water? instead of gravy? Two cans were damaged, one with a hole in it and we threw it out
He likes variety
So far my picky cat has liked the variety of foods in the new box. He have become tired of his two favorites. Having liver in the ingredients is a plus for this cat!
