How many tablets to use per gallon of water?

Use 1 packet Expel-P per 10 gallons of water. Perform a 25% water change taking are to remove excreted worms/parasites after 24 hours. Repeat the cycle one additional time one week later to prevent reinfection. Repeat weekly treatments as necessary.

Will this kill planaria?

Works well on the dreaded camallanus worms

You must follow the directions & be sure to do the second dosage or else the worms will be back. The reason for the second dosage is to kill the worms which were

You must follow the directions & be sure to do the second dosage or else the worms will be back. The reason for the second dosage is to kill the worms which were still eggs at the time of the first dosage. (B/c the medication merely paralyzes the existing worms) it does nothing to the actual eggs. But once the eggs hatch - the newly hatched worms will also be paralyzed which is why you gravel vac 24 hrs after each treatment. On occasion I have had to actually do a third dosage which I’m not sure why that was. I just always purchase a cple the 20 count packages just to be safe.

Very effective

A couple of my new plecos had camallanus worms pretty badly. They were no longer visible after the first treatment, but we did one more just to be sure.
